Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ Ep. 9

Impressions:
Ah, so wonderful. A beach date between Tsukasa and Aoba. Everything starts off well and almost-romantic. Tsukasa’s in her hot pink, very cute swimsuit and Aoba is actually managing to be like a normal boyfriend. The day couldn’t possibly go bad, right? Wrong! Everyone decided to go to the beach. In my opinion, the most notable were the principal (my god she has huge breasts) and the senseis drinking non-stop. Of course, the two lovebirds try to get away to be alone but they can’t seem to shake off everyone. They eventually run into Sayuri where Aoba starts to do dumb things again. Tsukasa manages to get him back to her but Aoba’s idiot friends come along and cause him to almost drown. Through some odd turn of events the poor fool is saved but he has to go looking for Tsukasa. In the end, I almost thought Tsukasa and Aoba were going to kiss but I should have known better. Tokimeki isn’t that nice to Aoba at all. Oh well, there’s always next time. xD

Impressions:
Wonderful episode. I feared for the worst at the end but I’m glad I was wrong. However, I still think that Aoba needs to watch himself. Honestly, he shouldn’t be putting himself in compromising situations with other girls when he has a girlfriend already. Case in point, when he was with Yayoi and going to help her practice. I couldn’t begin to imagine what Tsukasa was feeling when she said that. Shouldn’t he be watching her practice some times? Sure, he and Yayoi are friends and he agreed to help her out but he owes it to Tsukasa to be there for her some times. Then there was the temple incident. I was scared. I thought that there would be a confrontation because of what happened up there. After all he’s now started to call Yayoi by her first name, Mina. Tsukasa is his girlfriend and he hasn’t even called her by her first name yet. Bad moves Aoba. Also, I should mention some tension seems to be appearing between Sayuri and Aoba. Not sure how serious it is as yet but it does seem a slight bit unnerving. However, the ending scenes were heartwarming. Aoba reacted in the way a guy should for his girl when he hears bad news but thank goodness it wasn’t anything serious. It was very cute how he helped her practice in the end. I feel that doing that made Tsukasa quite the happy girl. Another large smile appeared on my face when she asked him to go to the beach with her.Tsukasa’s just too cute and she deserves to be treated right. Hopefully Aoba learns from his realized mistakes and makes the right adjustments.

Impressions:
Quite the emotional episode. Summer vacation is starting and everyone has plans. Well, except for Aoba who gets pulled into volunteering for the executive committee. He isn’t too bothered though since Sayuri is with him. However, he has other troubles with the drama club which forces him to audition. The bad thing about this is that the audition is on the same day he promised to have a date with Tsukasa. Very, very bad move Aoba. I found it sweet at how excited Tsukasa was to be going on a date with Aoba, picking out the clothes she’ll wear and such. But she has that promise broken which is both not and is Aoba’s fault. If he stood up for himself and declined the audition he wouldn’t have had to make Tsukasa cry. Though I suppose its difficult not to when you’re being attacked by over a dozen feathers while tied down. Interestingly enough, during the auditions when he gets serious he says “I love you”…to Sayuri who just happened to walk in at the same time. Wow. Sayuri is stunned but I’m not sure at what. Was it because he said he loved her or that he said he didn’t mean it and was acting? Whichever it was, we don’t get to find out because she runs off. Tsukasa sees her and starts to go to the drama club but changes her mind and walks outside. This scene was something I saw coming sooner or later. Tsukasa seems to be feeling jealousy. Hey, I think it’s healthy. After all, Aoba has been hanging out with Sayuri and Yayoi a bit too much lately. Can’t wait for the next episode to see what happens between Aoba, Tsukasa, and Sayuri!

Impressions:
I really liked this episode. I figured from the beginning that there was more to Inukai than the cold exterior. Glad to see he got an entire episode for himself. Liked how he saved Mo-chan in the beginning and I also found it heartwarming how he cares for animals. He’s a wonderful artist as well. Most of all, however, he’s got some friends who knows his true face. Aoba being the main one. Overall high quality story. I look forward to more episodes like this in the future.

Impressions:
Pretty nice episode I have to say. Sport festival episodes are always great. I liked the focus they placed on Aoba and Sayuri this time around. Still though, very little Tsukasa and virtually almost no sign of Yayoi. One thing is puzzling me though, I have no idea what the hell happened during the last race. Was it a bombing?

Impressions:
Yet another hilarious episode. Though, the spotlight was mainly on Yayoi in this episode. And dear God, Ayu’s breasts are so huge but they’re her weakness? She really needs to overcome that but not until after the series is over (since it’s so hilarious). Strangely enough, this episode lacked a lot of Tsukasa who was only shown at the beginning of the episode. That’s alright though, since Yayoi and Ayu made up for her absence.

Impressions:
It’s official, I’ve laughed my ass off too much today. This episode was golden. Tsukasa is such a demanding and dominating girl that Aoba doesn’t have a chance in hell to turn her down even if he wanted to. The Aoba and Chick-kun getting sick scenes were hilarious. Didn’t know Tsukasa was such a terrible cook lol. Well, at least she learned hwow to cook better at the end. Also, that nurse is hot! And Yayoi is really cute although shy, but that works for me.
