This episode was pure awesome. Luna has already established herself as one of the top funniest characters in the series in her debut episode. She’s somewhat similar to Maki personality-wise but a lot more power and popularity-hungry. Her rivalry with San is completely insane on her part while San thins of her as a best friend. Luna’s bodyguards are also freaking hilarious with their random English and silly movements. For some reason though, when I see Luna I think of Akira from Lucky Star a bit…

There were so many times I thought that San’s identity would be discovered in this episode that I thought she would’ve just told Mawari outright. Nagasumi’s barrier attempts were golden though. Especially the one he did in the female’s restroom! XD Also, Mawari really seems to care for Nagasumi a lot as evidenced by her behavior throughout the episode. As childhood friends she probably feels that she’s losing Nagasumi to San in some way but she doesn’t seem sure about it. If only she knew.

Is watching this show healthy? Every time I sit down to watch an episode I end up choking on my own breath because of the non-stop laughter. I seriously can’t eat or drink while watching this show. XD

Anyways, this episode continues SetoHana’s hilarity. Now that the school environment has been introduced and new characters are around, things can only get more funnier. This is especially because of new characters like Saru and the return of San’s family who have now taken jobs as teachers in Nagasumi’s school. I especially loved and laughed my ass off at San’s father making his entrance and her mother suggesting to Nagasumi that he make her his mistress LOL.

If things continue like this SetoHana will come out as one of the top series of the Spring 2007 when it ends for sure.

I like episodes like these. While the hilarity factor is still pretty high it also sort of felt slice-of-life-ish for some reason. Well, that’s probably because of the tour Nagasumi gave San. I enjoyed seeing them visit the various areas around the city and such.

The new character, Mawari, is just so awesome. When you can describe someone as a Demonic Disciplinary Committee member you know that they must be a hand full. I laughed so hard when she helped Nagasumi with the two thugs but stomping on one of their heads only to find out that she couldn’t swim. San was also awesome as well, practically screaming the life out of those thugs while underwater. Her exit had me rolling on the floor too!

Maki’s appearance only made things much more funnier near the end of the episode. Seriously, that girl is too much to contain. Still though, Mawari’s character is interesting and I can’t wait to see more of her. My god, she’s the superintendent general’s daughter! That means she and San are natural enemies. Are they enemies in love as well?! :O

“Came loose.” Is what was said when San’s bikini top well…came loose. LOL, are you kidding me?

This series keeps on raising the bar for comedy and doesn’t allow you to rest your lungs from laughter. I loved the introduction of Maki’s character. She seemed to be cute and angelic but is really an assassin with a super aggressive attitude. I laughed my ass off at her tactics to kill Nagasumi, especially her liquid machine gun.

Now that Nagasumi is returning home, along with San by his side, things should be getting even more hectic. There’s his school to consider and any possible friends he may have and a love rival who may want to get rid of San. The possibilities are too exciting and will most likely bring another level of laughter into the show.

More hilarity please!

[ Episode 2: Legend of the Ring ]

Do you want belly-aching laughter in your life? Or perhaps you want your heart to be working four or even ten times as fast as it normally does? Then get to watching SetoHana!

Oh god. I think I almost passed out from watching this episode. I laughed so much until I became light-headed. Even though I’m just two episodes in, I have read some of the manga and I’m quite serious when I say that this is very likely the funniest show of the season. No other comedy right now is keeping me laughing as consistently as SetoHana is at the moment. The interactions between Nagasumi, San, and their parents and the others are just genuinely hilarious and doesn’t feel forced at all.

This episode was just all-around goodness in my opinion. There were laughs at every corner and turn and I didn’t see them coming at all (it’s been a while since I’ve read the manga so I’ve forgotten a lot). The best parts of this episode has to be when Nagasumi and San were visiting all the stalls, when San was constantly getting her legs wet, and seeing Nagasumi getting blown away by San’s supersonic voice! LOL.

I’d recommend this show to anyone who really needs some laughter in their life. Hell, I bet that if I had a really bad day that just one episode of SetoHana would brighten it up a lot with just one episode. That’s how powerful I think the comedy in this series really is to be blatantly honest.
