Reideen ep. 8

Very awesome episode. Reideen/Junki kicked ass as usual and the Jin-Rai were actually useful! That possessed unit, Hayate, can really tear down with some speed though since it was able to get beyond 5km away from everyone. Though for some reason I was expecting a larger explosion since it was two nukes, but I guess they were watered down. I also wonder when we’ll be seeing some new stuff from Reideen. There has to be a few more techniques beyond God Sword and God Arrow I think but I guess we’ll be seeing those a little later.
On another note, I want to see more of Akira. She’s still quite mysterious and next to nothing has been revealed about her so far. Lastly, this episode would’ve gotten a perfect 10 if they had shown Hoshikawa in swimsuit. 
Reideen ep. 7
[Episode 7: New Winds]

[Thoughts]
If I were Junki at the beginning of the episode, I’d be pretty pissed at those Jin-rai units interfering in the battle and giving the enemy the opportunity to flee. I mean, what the hell? He had everything under control until one idiot decided to fire on the monster endlessly and not causing any visible damage. How dense can you get? Anyways, Junki was pretty impressive with Reideen in this episode. He seems to have gotten used to most of the functions he has discovered so far and aims for the strategy that he thinks is best for the situation at hand. Still though, the military caused more problems rather than helping in this episode as well. Good job creating a Jin-rai unit that carries two nuclear bombs guys! Now Junki has to clean up your mess.
Lastly, Akira was pretty cute when she yawned earlier in the episode. It seemed as if she was up late the same night as Junki. Hmmm….
