[Enjoyment Value: 9/10]

Dear lord, this episode has to have had one of the most absolutely random scenes in the series since it began. I didn’t see it coming at all but before I knew it I was laughing so hard that I’m sure I pulled something. Anime Tenchou is the series that got parodied in that scene and oh boy was it so awesome. I was almost expecting to see some projectile throwing from who I assume was the store owner lol.

Lastly, Konata’s mother was very youthful-looking. It makes me wonder just how old she was when she gave birth to Konata. o_O

Very solid episode this week. I felt that almost everyone got a chance to appear and have their time to shine (yes, even Miyuki). Hopefully she isn’t left out anymore because I quite like her character. Her story about Santa Claus made me laugh quite a bit, especially when seeing Konata and Tsukasa’s reactions after her story. Cousin Yui was as hilarious as ever. Shouldn’t she not be drinking till she’s drunk since she’s a policewoman lol? It’s a good thing she wasn’t driving, otherwise who knows what would’ve happened.

Also, it seems as if Akira will be appearing in the next episode. Of the main show that is. I can only imagine what her role would be and if she’ll switch between her personalities if she bumps into one of the main girls lol.

Man. The dragging techniques are getting craftier each episode. The whole thing with Gai was basically to stretch the episode. Though I don’t really have any problems with it since I was laughing pretty hard at how Ten-Ten and Neji were hesitating. Especially Neji. At least they managed to break into the cave before the episode ended and got to see Naruto go into Kyuubi-mode.

After a slow and steady progress I’ve finally caught up to the latest scanlations courtesy of Kuu scans. As expected, the story is taking its time in progress but a lot of things have happened so far. The previous battle between Ikki and Ringo is now over. The victor being Ikki. This victory only comes after they decided to race instead of continuing their fight, because well, Ikki would’ve either been really messed up or would have died if Ringo didn’t use almost all of her strength to stop his own attack from backfiring on himself. So, you can say that the real winner was Ringo.

Currently though, Ikki, Kururu and Agito/Akito are now descending into the Trophaeum after a series of events that eventually lead to the theft of the Wind Regalia. After reaching the bottom Agito realizes that they were set up and are locked into the room they entered. Now, they have Sleeping Forest surrounding them. If I had to use one sentence to describe chapter 148 and the few before it, it’d be this: Shit is getting intense.

[Enjoyment Value: 9/10]

I like how Lucky Star keeps the enjoyment level constant. Every episode up to now has more than just made me laugh but genuinely had me hooked right until the very end leaving me dreading that I have to wait another week for the next episode. As for this one, I loved scenes in the buffet. Seeing the girls try to stuff their faces reminded me of my own experiences in a buffet were all the food had to be gone since no leftovers or wrap-ups were allowed. Konata’s methods of studying are almost similar to my own. When I can’t study I go and do something else. Usually game or watch anime/read manga lol. Lucky Channel had me rolling yet again as well. I had to rewind a few times just to see how quickly Akira goes from serious to playful. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone switch personalities so quick yet lol.

Oh my god. Fifteen or more minutes just to get out of the forest? This dragging is almost as painful as the fillers in the previous series. Anyways, at least they’re now at the cave where the Akatsuki was performing their extraction jutsu. I look forward to the future episodes since I know a lot of awesome material is ahead. However, the next episode airs on the 21st. GAH.

This show just keeps on getting better and better. This week the episode was just hilarious overall. Konata’s dad likes taking pictures of young girls like herself…Miyuki has a super well-developed body…Kagami possesses an amazing ability to eat and eat…Tsukasa is just as silly as ever with her wild imagination. Oh yes, Akira-sama brought it yet again this week. This time though she was more balanced between her two personalities.

One thing I have to say I love about this series is its ability to leave me completely in the dark about what the next episode is going to be about. I like having that feeling at times. ^__^

Chikage is such a freak for a meganekko lol. Poor Ikuto and Suzu, they had to endure through her “observations”. Overall though, I really enjoyed this episode. Probably much more than a few previous ones. Panako is also a cute character I wouldn’t mind seeing more of in future episodes.

A fairly good episode. No action here really but I didn’t find the episode boring one bit for some reason. Anyways, we found out about what happens to Jinchuuriki when their Biji is removed: they die. As such, it’s obvious that in the next episode or two Gaara will die (hell, the next episode title is “Gaara’s Death”). Right now I’m just waiting for the upcoming battles and hoping that the animation team doesn’t slouch on a specific battle starring the resident pink-haired cutie, Sakura. ^_^

First of, LMFAO at the Marimite parody at the beginning. My poor lungs almost couldn’t take that entire scene! You better believe that I watched it again and again too! As for the rest of the episode, I pretty much loved it. From cellphones to Miyuki not wearing glasses and to Lucky Channel. Especially, Lucky Channel. It was the oddest LC yet I must say lol. Akira was pretty pissed at the end but then again, she always ends up that way.

This is pretty much what I wanted to see last week. I felt as though a few things would’ve been more impressive if some appropriate music was in place (like Gai’s final few moves and some other things). Eh, good episode but it could’ve been better. It also felt short for some reason…

The first part of the episode was very enjoyable. Seeing that Cats vs. Dogs match was just too grand. The rule of painting mustaches was quite funny too and quite creative. I found it hilarious that Suzu’s master is a cat. A two-tailed cat at that and one that over 100 years old. Seriously, who thinks of this stuff on a normal day lol?

The second part was even better. Machi near was the star of this half of the episode and boy did she entertain. I only wish that she had a full episode for herself though. I have to wonder about Sakura-watching though. I want to do that some day…

Oh man, I loved this episode to bits and pieces. Group tips are always awesome, especially when they lead to the beach! I enjoyed watching all the girls this week but as usual I favor Kagami over the others. She’s so straightforward with most things and is a wonderful counterbalance to Konata’s craziness. Akira-sama was as awesome as ever this week. She even flipped off the camera in this week’s Lucky Channel! She seems to be getting more and more aggressive as the weeks go by though. I wonder if she’ll lay the smack down on her assistant soon?

Yet another fun episode. Did it seem like Suzu allowed Ikuto to save her near the end of the episode? She probably wanted to make him feel better about himself but I can’t be sure since her foot was sprained after all…

And what the hell was that thing underwater? No, scratch that since I know what it is already. But, why is it even there? Well, whatever the reason, I think we’ll be seeing it again in the future.

Man, time is getting shorter and shorter now that I’m a week into my summer courses. It’s something close to hell but not quite. Still though, it’s pretty much reducing some of the time I have free to watch some shows and of course the blogging of them. *sigh* Oh well, such things are inevitable in real life so it’s not that much of a big deal. There wasn’t that much action this week. Well, at least on the Naruto and co. vs. Itachi side. There was too much talking and not enough fighting overall though. Like with Itachi…what the hell man, don’t just stand there! Do something! I had no idea they were going to stand around for that long until near the very end of the episode. Then again, the manga makes things seem shorter than that really are I suppose…that or the animation team has already mastered the jutsu of stalling and stretching. >_<

My love for this show continues to grow with every passing week. I’m glad that I know almost all the jokes and references they manage to squeeze into an episode (actually I have yet to not get a single joke or reference) as it even heightens the enjoyment level in my opinion. All the girls looked very pretty in their yukatas at the beginning of the episode, especially Kagami.

The rest of the episode is pretty funny especially with discussions about MMOs and such. Lucky Channel was good this week as well, particularly after the show was over and Akira went into a fit lol. The ED this week blew me away though as I didn’t expect Konata to sing such a classic song as CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA! I can’t even begin to imagine what will happen in future episodes anymore.

I like how Jomy is already trying to fit into the role as Soldier. He may still be a ways from actually becoming it but at least he’s putting forth effort towards the goal. He even managed to find a kid with powers but, as expected, he’s a pain in the ass. Probably even more than Jomy was in the first few episodes. For now though, he’ll have to remain with his family since Jomy wasn’t able to bring him back to their ship. I’m interested in seeing where they’re headed now that they’ve warped into space. Can’t wait for more episodes to come.

This episode was pretty funny. It dealt with Ikuto and Suzu helping out Yukino in finding Kuma-kuma. Man, Ikuto can really take some abuse when it comes to animals and such though I suppose he’s getting used to such things. Speaking of getting used to things, he seems to already be adjusting to the island such as being able to understand what the animals are saying now! I laughed so hard when each of them began to talk to him and eventually sent him running away. Can’t wait for EP6 to laugh some more.
