For quite a long time I’ve been looking at Hunter x Hunter but never gathered the energy to sit down and watch the series. So finally, about two or so weeks ago after getting some encouragement and finally getting off my ass I started watching. Little did I know that I’d be getting myself into a serious addiction. Hunter x Hunter hooked me from the very first episode and never let go as I drowned over and over inside of its deep characters, brilliant plot, and beautifully crafted music. There were times that I found myself starting from an episode I left off at at around midnight and didn’t stop myself until at least five in the morning. Those were times I had classes in the morning or had some other work to attend to but otherwise my need for Hunter x Hunter was, and still is, astronomical. Forgive me if I come off as fanboyish as I go on with this review but nonetheless I want to say this: Hunter x Hunter is one of the most outstanding shows, especially of the shounen type where predictability is the norm and characters tend to be bland after time, that I have ever laid my eyes on. I’ll say this now and then again at the end, if you haven’t seen Hunter x Hunter as yet then do yourself a favor and watch it NOW.
