It’s that time again. We’ve got Mikuru, Yuki, and now it’s the homo’s turn. Wait, who’s the one that decided he was GAR for Kyon anyway? Oh whatever. The point is he has not four, but five choices to choose from. I can recognize the first choice as the ever so awesome Johnny Young Bosch and the third as Steve Staley. The rest I have no clue.

As much as I like JYB, I’m not sure if that even sounded like Itsuki. It was great acting, I’ll say that much, but it’s like it wasn’t even for Itsuki’s voice. Well, that’s just my opinion anyways. Start the vote!

Voice Choice C

That’s right, the second voice choice poll is now up, and this time its for our beloved alien Yuki! It’s simple, just head on over to ASOS Brigade, listen to the four choices, then vote!

#1 is Kate Higgins (Sakura of Naruto), #2 I have no idea and IMO, doesn’t match, #3 is Michelle Ruff (Rukia of Bleach), and last but not least, it’s Stephanie Sheh yet again, (Eureka of Eureka Seven).

Personally, it’s either #1 or #3 that I find the best. (Just look at the results!) But in the end, I myself, chose #3. Happy voting!

BTW, it seems they’ve now fixed their video with subtitles where they should be… I assume. Yay, my name’s in the credits! Don’t worry Bandai Ent./Kadokawa Pictures USA. Rest assured, I will definitely pick up your DVDs. =D

Yup. It’s finally official. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will be released by Kadokawa Pictures USA and distributed by Bandai Entertainment. I sense a strong disturbance in my wallet for when the first DVD hits US shores. >_<

Being one of my favorite series of all time I’ll continue to cover anything and everything tha tis Haruhi. So yeah, I just wanted to make that clear. ^_^

There are now talks about Kadokawa Pictures USA. If you don’t know about them they’re the company who licensed Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid for US distribution. It seems as if it is now a pretty sure bet that the Haruhi series was licensed by them and, if and when they officially announce it, this would be their second licensed title. For evidence of the claim of Kadokawa Pictures USA appearing in the site coding head on over to moetron. It seems as if it was immediately updated after it was found out that an error revealed ‘kadousa’ in the site coding.

I think it’s safe to say that KadoUSA will be the ones doing the announcement on December 22. There’s only two more days until everything is officially stated.

Also in other news, Zero no Tsukaima has officially been granted a second season. According to MOONPHASE it was revealed in various sources, such as the fourth DVD. No air dates have been stated as of yet but my guess is that it’ll be released some time during the summer or fall of next year.

So it seems now there is a rumor spreading like wildfire that Haruhi is already licensed or about to get licensed. This wildfire stems from a mysterious website that has popped up that states “The World As You Know It Is About To End” and then gives us the date of December 22, 2006. As has been mentioned at Anime on My Mind and Ramblings of DarkMirage the html code suggests that it is a U.S. site and that there’s a possibility the company may even be Funimation. Kurogane has also made a report on the news stating that he too believes it’s a possible license announcement.

I personally think the same way as it would be an awesome Christmas present for all of us rabid Haruhi fans. We’ll find out exactly what the announcement is in T minus 4 days.

Well, well, isn’t this pleasant news!

It seems as if we’re going to be getting a second season of our ojou-sama Haruhi. More Kyon and his narration. More Mikuru molestion. More Yuki being cute and quiet. Oh, and more Tsuruya-ness and her sexy little snaggle tooth.

And it seems as if we’re getting all this a year earlier than it was originally planned for. The for season two’s debut is now Fall ‘07 instead of it’s intended ‘08 release.
