Genshiken 2 ep. 1
[ Episode 1: The New Chairman`s Ambition ]
Ah~, I absolutely love the Genshiken. Seeing all of the familiar characters again is so comforting. Every time I sit to watch an episode of Genshiken I always end up hoping it’ll never end because it feels like I’m right there with the characters attending the meetings and ComiFes outings. Not long ago I was reading the manga up to the volume before the very last and needless to say I’ve been waiting since I read the last page for the final volumes to be animated. There are specific scenes I can’t wait to see and I’m sure all of the characters will be spot-on when they arrive. This episode was a good opener but the next few are going to be even much better. 
Genshiken OVA ep. 14-15

Episode 14 was pretty much Madarame-focused. I actually read this chapter a few weeks ago and it was followed pretty faithfully. I think the only part I don’t recall being exactly the same is the very beginning but that could just be my memory failing me from reading the chapter so long ago. While this wasn’t the best episode/chapter Genshiken has to offer it is decent nonetheless. Seeing Madarame go nuts over buying expensive clothes is priceless as I could somewhat relate with no wanting to spurgle huge amounts of cash on one pair of pants. In the end he managed to get some pretty good threads that even Saki couldn’t dismiss as looking good. The tension between him and Saki is always a blast to see.
Genshiken Second Season GET!
Can I get a HELL YEAH?! 
More Ogiue, Saki, Ohno, Madarame, and the others! I definitely can’t wait for this otaku-goodness.
