It took me a while to watch this picture drama for some reason but I finally did. Unlike most of the picture dramas up to now this one is rather serious and focuses on Suzaku’s thinking after the death of Euphie. He remembered when Lelouch first told him that he’ll destroy Britannia and, while cycling through memories of happiness, was already thinking that Lelouch was Zero. In the end though, it’s kind of funny to see how people and relationships can change so much over a few years. With the happy times behind the characters now one can only wonder just what is in store for Lelouch, C.C., Nunnally, and the others in the second season.

CODE GEASS - 22.25 - Picture Book 8

A lot of this was bittersweet for me since I know what happened to Euphie during and after episode 22 (this takes place around then). That said, the flashback was adorable but still all I could think of was that the world could be a very cruel place as people are placed in situations that at times taxing on their existence. Then there are those events that were never meant to happen, like Lelouch’s accidental Geassing of Euphie. One thing this picture book made me wonder about though is exactly how much Nunnally knows about Lelouch and everyone else around her. I guess I’ll be thinking about that and various other things as season two airs this April.

CODE GEASS - 9.33 - Picture Book 7

LOL! This picture book was basically for laughs and giggles. I love pure fun things like this and seeing the whole reverse gender thing was priceless. All of the girls looked good, especially Milly and Kallen. As for the guys…well, Luluko was rather radiant. Lelouch had the reaction that I’d have if I were in the same situation. Suzaku though was a bit…too comfortable in his role. Not to mention that comment about people in the army making him do it all the time was an eye-opener. o_o

[ STAGE 24: The Collapsing Stage ]
[ STAGE 25: Zero ]
[Enjoyment Value: 10/10] (Need I say it again? It was that damn good!)
[First season series review: 98/100]
Yeah, I brought back the EV System just for these last two episodes. Why? If you’ve seen the episodes then the answer should be obvious. These last two episodes go above and beyond epic and while a ton of questions are still left over after the end the storytelling thus far has been excellently crafted. Almost everyone gets their time to appear in the episodes (some more than others) and everyone provides a wonderfully entertaining and intense atmosphere (yes, even Suzaku and Nina). I know a lot of people are pissed off at the cliffhanger ending. However, I see that as a good thing. A very good thing. Just like C.C. and Lelouch’s hot kiss. ^__^
Also, Youko joins me in talking/reviewing these superb episodes. Do treat us both well. ^^;

This is easily one of my favorite picture books which is on par with CODE GEASS 3.25. Almost everyone was in their swim wear with the exception of C.C. but I’m not complaining since I get to see Cornelia bare her luscious skin in the sun. ^^; There was quite a bit of light sexual humor present throughout the entire 5 or so minutes such as Nunnally wanting to work hard to “satisfy” Lelouch. It’s so easy to see how that can be taken out of context. Though of course Milly gladly becomes the voice who does such a thing which gets Shirley all flustered. Milly is such a riot. It was also weird learning that Clovis designed pools and swimsuits….
Lastly, Cornelia is so freaking hot beautiful in her swimsuit.
