This week (two actually) I threw in some manga (some new and some I’m catching up on) along with anime.

Dear lord, this episode has to have had one of the most absolutely random scenes in the series since it began. I didn’t see it coming at all but before I knew it I was laughing so hard that I’m sure I pulled something. Anime Tenchou is the series that got parodied in that scene and oh boy was it so awesome. I was almost expecting to see some projectile throwing from who I assume was the store owner lol.

Lastly, Konata’s mother was very youthful-looking. It makes me wonder just how old she was when she gave birth to Konata. o_O

Very solid episode this week. I felt that almost everyone got a chance to appear and have their time to shine (yes, even Miyuki). Hopefully she isn’t left out anymore because I quite like her character. Her story about Santa Claus made me laugh quite a bit, especially when seeing Konata and Tsukasa’s reactions after her story. Cousin Yui was as hilarious as ever. Shouldn’t she not be drinking till she’s drunk since she’s a policewoman lol? It’s a good thing she wasn’t driving, otherwise who knows what would’ve happened.

Also, it seems as if Akira will be appearing in the next episode. Of the main show that is. I can only imagine what her role would be and if she’ll switch between her personalities if she bumps into one of the main girls lol.

Man. The dragging techniques are getting craftier each episode. The whole thing with Gai was basically to stretch the episode. Though I don’t really have any problems with it since I was laughing pretty hard at how Ten-Ten and Neji were hesitating. Especially Neji. At least they managed to break into the cave before the episode ended and got to see Naruto go into Kyuubi-mode.

After a slow and steady progress I’ve finally caught up to the latest scanlations courtesy of Kuu scans. As expected, the story is taking its time in progress but a lot of things have happened so far. The previous battle between Ikki and Ringo is now over. The victor being Ikki. This victory only comes after they decided to race instead of continuing their fight, because well, Ikki would’ve either been really messed up or would have died if Ringo didn’t use almost all of her strength to stop his own attack from backfiring on himself. So, you can say that the real winner was Ringo.

Currently though, Ikki, Kururu and Agito/Akito are now descending into the Trophaeum after a series of events that eventually lead to the theft of the Wind Regalia. After reaching the bottom Agito realizes that they were set up and are locked into the room they entered. Now, they have Sleeping Forest surrounding them. If I had to use one sentence to describe chapter 148 and the few before it, it’d be this: Shit is getting intense.

[Thoughts]

The battle continues on between Ikki and Ringo. As it stands, Ringo has the advantage and things don’t look too good for Ikki (the guy is the only one all bruised up). Though, it seems his luck may change if Kururu is able to make it to him on time to give him the Regalia she just completed. How much of a difference will it make though? Well, seeing as he’s naturally gifted he’ll probably be able to fend her off some but I don’t think he’ll be able to completely defeat her.

Do I think he should win? Eh, I don’t know. She’s been shown to be quite powerful so maybe he should lose this one and probably win the next one whenever they fight again. Well whatever, I just want to see more seductive and naked Ringo. :3

Quite the interesting chapter. Though it is yet again filled with physics and such (not to mention nitrogen bubbles make an appearance), it is still a great end to the volume. Why? There’s lots of great shots of Ringo in all her sizzling glory and we get what seems to be the beginning of Ikki vs. Ringo that will carry over to the 16th volume. More Crazy Apple please!

This chapter pushes the story forward by quite a margin. As you can see in the awesome double-page spread of Ringo she has now decided to show Ikki the “horrors” of the sky or in other words, has decided to try and destroy his dreams and progress. I find it funny though how she came to this conclusion after realizing that she couldn’t catch up with Ikki’s speed and realized his accelerated strength despite her original purpose for chasing after him was to explain the situation that Kanon (I really hate that guy) suddenly brought up. Then again, humans are fickle creatures so I shouldn’t really be surprised at the turn of events….

I’m really looking forward to the future chapters from now on. Especially eight chapters from now where I’m told that Ikki shows just how badass he can be. Also, be sure to check out the awesome coloring of Trick 130’s cover that was included in SF’s scanlation. You should know where to get it by now.

In other news, I’ll finally be returning to my normal schedule of blogging after deciding to get a new machine instead of fixing my old computer. So expect to see my episode entries on the weekend starting with my catch-ups of Bleach, CODE GEASS, Venus Versus Virus, KyoSora and TMGK.

These six chapters were awesome. Firstly, the conclusion of the fight against Om wasn’t really what I expected it to be. I thought that in the end she would’ve gotten messed up by the sultry Benkei but instead her behind was saved (heh) by Kazu after trying to perform a suicide technique. Well, I’m not disappointed in the least since I didn’t want anything bad to happen to her or anyone else for that matter.

As for the other chapters, Trick 129 was awesome! In the last of Ikki’s “panty race” he finally succeeded in flipping the skirt of Komi and revealing her…black G-string. All I can say about that is: HAWT.

Oh yeah, and much thanks to Sleeping Forest for their previous triple AG release.

This was a badass chapter. Om was totally dominating Benkei for most of the chapter and had the others in awe (I’m sure it was because of both her abilities and her ass). She also had a lot of good shots in this chapter, even the strange and scary ones were awesome. However the best thing in this chapter has to be her two-page spread which I have linked for your viewing pleasure. Other than the awesome content with Om and Benkei the only thing that really pissed me off in this chapter was Buccha (as always). He always seems to talk a lot of crap about who he respects and such. But honestly and frankly, who gives a shit? He just needs to learn how to shut up sometimes if you ask me.

On another note, I should be getting my normal PC back fully repaired either later tonight or Tuesday. Thus if all goes well my regular blogging schedule will resume this week!
