It feels like the year just started and yet we’re already so close to the Spring season for anime this year. While we say good bye to some anime we’ve been following over the months such as Clannad and Gundam 00, we’ll soon be saying hello to much anticipated titles such as the new Fullmetal Alchemist series and many others. With Spring anime, there’s always a plethora of titles to choose from and this year is no different. Don’t know what’s coming or what to watch? No problem. The KzI staff and I are here to guide you through each show to help you decide what’s hot and what’s not. Take note that not every show airing in Spring is on the list we’ve put together and that we’ve excluded most of the kiddy stuff. Now ends our three-part 2008 spring season preview. I wouldn’t necessarily say we saved “the best for last” but there are some interesting ones in here that have caught my eye. Four of those being Itazura na Kiss, Amatsuki, Blassreiter, and Himitsu – Top Secret. My blogging choices here aren’t as plentiful as they were in the first two parts but things can change once all the first episodes are seen which has happened countless times.

Long story short: was supposed to post this sooner but came across some… maintaining issues. Sorry, everyone. This is the second post for the spring season. You’ve probably noticed now that we’re quite interested in blogging many shows. It’s really no surprise to me that we all wanna have out eyes-on review for R2 and SOUL EATER. You’ve seen the first 11 previewed, now here’s the next 11. Hard to say what we’ll wanna blog from this. Maybe we chose the good ones early? Don’t be so shocked to see my comments waver though. The time has come again and another season is about to dawn upon us. Most of what I’m blogging is about to end (or has already ended) and I’ve already chosen a few of the upcoming shows to blog. I won’t say how many I’ll be picking up this time around but with my graduation imminent and my career picking up it won’t likely be as many as I have done in the past. If you frequent KZI then you should have an idea of what shows I’ll be watching and those I’ll be blogging. The offerings this time round, like last Spring, are a bit overwhelming but there are more than enough titles that catch my eye and so the only decisions to be made is when I’ll watch and blog what.

That all being said, my usual criteria revolves around the summary and plot, artwork, production, and seiyuu talent. Of course, that isn’t in any sort of order. Also you can expect team posts on about two or three of the titles.

I remember one year ago when I did my first anime preview and, of course, it was of the Winter 2006/2007 season. I think I was interested in a lot more shows back then but that doesn’t mean I’m not looking forward or aren’t interested in this season’s offerings. I’m probably thinking it’s fewer this time around because my graduation is coming up and I’m trying to cut-down on the amount of stuff that I watch (I’m pretty sure that plan is going to fail though). Well, whatever the case, as always I don’t know for sure how many shows I’ll be blogging but I will indicate the ones that are guarantees and highly likely. And thus, another season of anime is upon us. It’s during this time I really start to get excited about the new shows and start to see which ones I’d take to from summaries, trailers, and images available. As always my sources come from the usual suspects: Pukiwiki, ANN, AniDB, AnimeSuki Forums, MOON PHASE and others. So many thanks to those sites for the abundance of information.

I’m not entirely sure how many shows I’ll be blogging this time around since he new semester has already started (even though I only have one class) and there are such things as job opportunities and the like that will require my immediate attention. So for now I’ll probably say I’ll be picking up at least 4-5 new shows (lol I’m sure you know, with me, it’ll be more) for blogging while the rest remain as strictly watching. I suppose it’ll depend on who’s doing what in the rest of the blogosphere (such as what series is getting tons of attention and which is getting very little) but I usually don’t care about such things if I really want to share my opinions on the show..

Another season, another series of anime to browse through. This summer doesn’t have a lot of shows to overwhelm a person but there are a few that should be seen. As for myself, I’m probably going to give most things a try but will probably only stick with a few of the ones I outline here. Though, I honestly can’t say which one’s I’ll be blogging for sure since I have this odd trend of saying one thing and doing the other and an additional more of another thing. So yeah, let’s just dive into this thing but before that do remember to check out AndrewLB’s Summer 2007 wiki for a complete listing of the shows and their air dates and times.

Well, another season is here and I have to decide what I’ll be watching & blogging and what I’ll just be watching. There are quite a few series coming out that I want to watch and it totals at least 10 or more (probably more…). So there’s no way I’ll be blogging them all but I am thinking about blogging at least three of them and at most six or seven. Since I’ve finished a few series in the past month, I shouldn’t have to worry about “overblogging” if I stick to the number I previously mentioned. Also, for “chances of blogging”, my choices may vary despite whatever I may put have said. Don’t forget to check out AndrewLB’s Spring 2007 wiki for a list of shows and for who’s going to be subbing what. Anyways, enjoy delaying. Here are my picks for the upcoming Spring 2007 season which will include a short synopsis/summary, my thoughts and likelihood of watching/blogging a show.

Leon (and Youko) here. Well, the winter season is here (well it’s been here/started for a while now) and so that means it’s time for choosing what I’m going to watch. There’s no way that I’m writing up or watching/blogging all of them but I will write on the ones that I’ll be checking out (obviously). I can’t say exactly which shows I’m going to blog but it probably won’t be more than 4-5 since there’s still a few I’m watching from the past season. However, I will probably blog the first episodes of everything that interests me/that I’ll be watching. Note that we may watch other stuff not listed here, but why mention them? Spring is where it’s at!

The spring selection list will probably be twice as long. Maybe. Who knows. But there are a lot of new and interesting shows are appearing in that season. So I’m sure I’ll be checking/watching/blogging a good portion of them. God, it’s a good thing that I’m taking only two classes next semester otherwise…
