Wow, after all seemed totally lost, I didn’t expect something like this to happen at all. First Maka pulls off Kishin Gari, which looks even more sick than Majo Gari. The gradient, flashy look and the size of it made my jaw hit the floor. She managed to give Asura a serious cut, but he quickly recovered as if nothing happened. Then here came unexpectedness number two: I know Maka was always hot-headed but once the blades came out of her body, things started getting wicked good. And I thought Black Blood Maka was legion. So apparently she has the power of weapons from her blood, despite her role as Meister. A very interesting revelation; it certainly is no stretch, seeing as she herself is the daughter of Death Scythe. Asura was still able to stop her, even after all those blades pierced through his damn body. The most disturbing part was when Asura snapped Maka back to normal and she made that painful PAINFUL scream. Ouch.

Being Maka, though, she still had the courage to stand up against Asura, and she used that courage built up into her right fist and sent a message right to his face. Okay, so it wasn’t that climatic as I thought it’d be, but it was a nice way to end it. The whole thing about having courage is nothing new; rather, it’s a cliché in most stories, but, man, does it work. It was pretty funny how Asura thought that single punch did nothing, but once his face cracked, I started guffawing, especially when he put his face back together right before he exploded. I really liked the line Maka says just then too: how courage is nothing special, and anyone can have it within him or her. Nostalgia comes back once “I Wanna Be” started playing in the background. I’m not a fan of STANCE PUNKS, but I did enjoy “I Wanna Be” since the beginning (even though the other endings are far better), but just hearing it after so long, and now at the end of the series, was pretty cool as Maka takes that one giant leap through time.

So the series ended on a high note, but an open end, so anything is possible from here on out. I can’t believe it’s been a year since I watched Soul Eater, and it’s been an awesome year following it beginning to end. Yeah, sure, the anime did steer away from the manga route, but it was reasonable and BONES did a great job handling this original ending. Whether there will be more in the future is anyone’s guess, but it’s not out of the question. Just look at FMA. It’s fun and interesting just how vastly different the tone of the show went through over a year but the soul (haha, soul) principle of the show stayed true to itself. I could’ve asked for an ending slightly better than this, but I was satisfied, and every other important character was present in the finale, so no qualms! Well, okay, I wanted to see a bit of Ox, Harvard, Kim, and Jacqueline, but you know.

Soul Eater was very action-packed and full of colorful characters, each with their own quirks and behaviors that you just can’t help but love it or hate it. Whether it was Black Star’s god complex or Kid’s symmetry or Excalibur’s “Bakame!,” they were really all a unique cast of characters. While the storyline wasn’t anything majorly intelligent, the setting and the presentation wowed me and everyone else with it’s amazing creative, imaginative visuals and animation, thanks to the guys at BONES. There’s also the great soundtrack the anime provides, by Iwasaki Taku, no less. The variety of music genre was superb. I’m gonna miss having no more Soul Eater, but rest assured, the manga is still continuing, and hopefully this is not the end for the anime. I hope those of you that followed it weekly enjoyed it as much as I did.

Wow, I didn’t notice until the last episode, but ever since episode 10, the opening changed slightly. Well, okay, it’s nothing something to write home about, but I guess this should have been expected; the Saginomiya siblings are now shown unmasked. Yeah, like I said, not really important, but a nice touch for those that have been following. Anything to see Sakon’s beautiful mug.

As if the beach episode wasn’t enough eyecandy, an episode at an inn with hot springs just adds more fun and mayhem for the dojo girls and samurai. Ayame’s behavior was definitely expected, but I’m with her; totally unfair use of their martial arts skills. Anyway, I found myself a bit turned-on by Ayame when Yoichi was in the pit. Well, okay, it wasn’t really her, but Sakon played it cooly. It was funny how Yoichi found out it wasn’t really Ayame because her chest was too big. By now, Yoichi should be an expert at this field. After all, the first things he did when he came into the city were groping Ayame’s breast and looking for Ibuki by comparing breast sizes of people in the mall. I wasn’t expecting things to turn out worse when Ibuki was taken by Ukyou, who was actually wearing casual clothes. Suddenly he’s not in his usual attire. WTF. Apparently, they’re supposed to be getting married? What is this? Ibuki doesn’t know it either, but like knockout gas, she’s out cold and suddenly her mind got replaced with a four-year old’s. Uh-oh.

It was pretty cool seeing Hinagata again. Those two surfer dudes? Not so much. That swordsman guy? Yeah, a little. At least they weren’t forgotten, but wow, that guy really did suck balls. It occurs to me that this is the first time I’ve heard Ayame refer to Ibuki as “Aneki.” I realize she’s said it plenty of times before, but it was more noticeable now. Interesting how she gets so many ways of addressing her.

I’m reminded of why Kagome is the weakest link in this show. Not that she’s the youngest, but she doesn’t really have much prominence, being overshadowed by the eldest two sisters, unsurprisingly. The one problem I have is that for some reason, they’re paying Hanazawa Kana to squeal, gasp, or call the name of one of her sisters in each episode, moreso than given actual dialogue. I can understand the initial shock after Ibuki has Kagome out of her life, though who can blame her? Her mind went back to when she was a kid. Ayame overreacted a bit too much too. I guess everyone’s just so frustrated with Ibuki’s sudden warped change.

That being said, this episode is basically building up for the last, with the turmoils continuing. I guess Washizu was the only one in his own world once Ibuki started clinging on to him. Where’d he buy such clothes anyway… Okay, negotiations with the Saginomiya and the Ikaruga family seem a little sketchy. Live like a rich family and the antidote will be done in no time? Well, la-dee-freaking-dah. They take it anyway, but change their minds…

Ah, family. Sakon gets her brother back. The Ikaruga sisters get Ibuki back. All is right with the world! Well things couldn’t go back to normal without putting up a fight, and a fight they put up! I laughed at those servant guys that repeat “Please head back.” Weaklings, but a horde of weaklings. And maid machineguns, whoa. Not only that, Torigaya shrunk even more now! To make matters worse (better?), he transformed into a girl at the end. Whether it’s Washizu’s vision or true reality, that just boggles the mind a lot. I enjoyed hearing the OP theme played in the background. What better way to end the battle than with some divine wind! So Yoichi decided to stay for more training and sends a letter to his dad about it. I laughed when the dad used the letter to blow his nose and then trashed it. Good man. So, essentially, no really special ending at all.

So overall, Asu no Yoichi! was a predictable, yet fun series that I enjoyed watching over the past three months. Fanservicey in many ways, but also delivered comic relief moments for all the lovable characters, especially Ayame. There’s a lot of material from the original source (manga) so a second season is very well likely to be in the works, though I’m not really holding my breath yet. I would recommend this to anyone that likes a good comedy anime and some interest in a harem anime.

what the fuck

Ok, I’ll just go to straight to the point. I didn’t like the ending. In fact it even made me RAGE a bit. Now just so you know, this will basically be a rant post of what went wrong. I’ve been loving After Story since the beginning as it kept getting better and better. But this.. I’m sorry I just couldn’t find anything to like about this episode. It kinda ruined the second season as a whole for me.

I always knew there was a bit of a supernatural theme in Clannad, but I never thought it would have affected the story to this extent. I assumed the other world would just run parallel to Tomoya’s world for a nice constrast between worlds and characters. But damn, that chibi robot actually merged with Tomoya or something. And it felt off how Tomoya called out to Nagisa. Like I expected a lot of deep thought or flashbacks, but the fact that his revelation spawned when he and the chibi robot fused was lame. It was so random.

The thing that frustrated me most was Tomoya being able to change time/reality due to the light orbs (I call them dragon balls). Well he didn’t really do it on purpose. It just kinda happened. Yeah sure, Tomoya got GOOD END, but it felt like I went through those tear inducing episodes with Nagisa and Ushio for nothing. All that development, gone. You know how Tomoya said he felt like he was being toyed around by the city? I think I know what he means.

The other thing, I know this show is mainly about Tomoya and Nagisa, but those short snippets of the side cast really didn’t cut it for me. Especially Tomoyo’s where she looked all ronery. I probably would have shook that off until I saw the part where Fuko got like five minutes of screentime. Why do you do this to me, KyoAni? I really wanted to smile during her scenes because they were a bit funny. But I couldn’t. I know it’s supposed to reference back to Clannad’s first OP, but it really seemed unfair to me.

One last thing. Mei with tits? DO NOT WANT. Mei was one of my top loli. If the dragon balls had to do one thing, they should have kept her as a loli forever. I didn’t need to see that.

Giving my series review now since the next episode or two are just extras and this episode officially marks the end of After Story.

[ Final Thoughts ]

After Story is something I kinda just blogged because all the other good shows were taken at the time. I’m sure I mentioned I wasn’t fond of the first season, so this was something to watch just because it was there. Though at the end of all those weeks of watching and then writing about episodes, I’ve quickly grown to like characters I didn’t like before (Nagisa) and underrated characters that didn’t get to shine in the first season. From the mini arcs to Tomoya and Nagisa’s life journey, I enjoyed watching it all. After Story has managed to far surpass the first season in my opinion. lol that was a bit hard to say actually since there was a lack of Tomoyo and Kyou. But I can’t deny it. It was that good.

Story: 8/10
Drama is about life struggles and Clannad excels in this department because it is able to evoke many emotions out of its audience. It’s written in a way that manages to pull us in when it wants to. Whether these characters were at the peak of happiness or despair, we always followed closely.

Cast: 9/10
I’m sure anybody can manage to find a favorite character whether they like the show or not. Of course out of all of them, Tomoya stands at the top. Seeing him struggle and develop has been a wild ride. There were times where we laughed at his antics, then of course there were times that we sympathized with him. A really fleshed out protagonist. A shame all that development was flushed away at the end.

Animation: 9/10
Not only was the animation good, it managed to stay very consistent. Of course by now that should be expected of Kyoto Animation. Great use of light and colors during a lot of key scenes, like when Tomoya and Ushio went to the sunflower field, which made for really beautiful imagery.

Music: 9/10
The music in this series created the atmosphere. Well that’s what music in anime is supposed to do lol, but this did it really well. It managed to string us along nicely during the fun, relaxed times and the sad, dramatic times. Still wished they didn’t use such a happy ED which ruined the mood for some episodes.

Enjoyment: 8/10
Ignoring the ending for a bit, Clannad: After Story was something I really enjoyed from the beginning. And I’m glad that even though I disliked the first season, I stuck with the series because this is something I would have regretted missing. The enjoyment value wasn’t at “OMG I HAVE TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE” level, but I had fun with each and every episode where I wasn’t BAWWing.

[ Overall series review: 88/100*]

*Note: Not an average.

So when I first got wind of this news, I was more than just baffled; I pulled a lengthy Kagamin-like “jiiiii~” after looking at the track list, recognizing about half the songs. I then realized that having these female seiyuu cover these old rock songs would be really weird, but at the same time, the ridiculousness intrigued me to a huge extent. Ergo, this was a must-listen. Expectations were all but present in my mind. I somewhat assumed they would change all of these to better fit the seiyuu. Once I started listening to the album, I wasn’t beginning to expect this…

Below is the tracklist which includes the song titles, the original artists, and the seiyuu covering the songs. Those of you that are interested, here’s a little preview you can hear on YouTube here.

Tracklist:
01. Sex and Violence – The Exploited (Mamoi Halko)
02. Basket Case – Green Day (Ikezawa Haruna)
03. White Riot – The Clash (Shimizu Kaori)
04. Pretty Fly (For A White Guy) – The Offspring (Kadowaki Mai)
05. Anarchy in the U.K. – Sex Pistols (Tanaka Rie)
06. London’s Burning – The Clash (Gotou Yuuko)
07. Call Me – Blondie (Mamoi Halko)
08. God Save the Queen – Sex Pistols (Ikezawa Haruna)
09. Blitzkrieg Bop – The Ramones (Shimizu Kaori)
10. Search and Destroy – Iggy and the Stooges (Kadowaki Mai)
11. Ruby Soho – Rancid (Tanaka Rie)
12. Smells Like Teen Spirit – Nirvana (Gotou Yuuko)

Interesting choice of songs, though it kinda irks me that this is called a punk songs collection when most of these aren’t really punk. With that said, let’s see what I think of each song…

Sex and Violence
To start things off, we get this song about sex and violence. The only words in this song are “sex and violence” repeated over and over. It’s not the first time songs have had repeated lyrics before, but you know what, it actually sounds a little catchy despite the redundancy. In this version, Mamoi repeats the words, but there are some bits of chitter-chatter in-between so as to not sound repetitive, I’m guessing. At the same time, it sounds really cute, even though I’m well aware it sounds like a little girl singing about sex and violence. Quite amusing to listen to this, but I don’t think this has very strong influence if you know what I mean.

Score: 7.5/10.0

Basket Case
I’ll admit, I never actually listened to Green Day much, and that includes this song. Nevertheless, Haruna does a decent job with the Engrish, so it’s not too bad. I think the only problem I have is that her voice doesn’t actually stand out at times.

Score: 7.0/10.0

White Riot
The Clash is yet another old group I never heard of, but their song being covered by Kaori isn’t actually bad at all. Kaori uses her Hiyorin voice from Lucky Star and it sounds just as good as her character song. I can’t say it’s something I’d listen to often, unfortunately. Also, the song is a little less than two minutes so that also disappointed me.

Score: 6.5/10.0

Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)
Single-handedly the best song on this album. This was actually the biggest reason I wanted to listen to the album so bad. Having listened to Offspring in the past, I thought their songs were quite humorous, yet awesome. So now I’m listening to Kadowaki Mai’s rendition, and I just laughed so much and facepalm’d because I couldn’t contain myself from the sheer greatness. Sheer greatness. During my listening, I was wondering if Mai even knew what she was saying. Offspring’s songs have a lot of explicit words in there, so it’s funny hearing Mai say them. Let’s see, she says “homie as he pass,” and “kick his lily ass” among others. Now that I think about it, when I first heard the beginning part with the gibberish (throwing me off guard in the process), it reminded me of our lovely gaijin, Patricia Martin. Perhaps the best thing is how she says “give it to me, baby.”

Score: 10.0/10.0

Anarchy in the U.K.
Tanaka Rie’s voice is as lovely as her looks, so when I learned that she was part of this collection, I was thrilled. I’ve listened to this song a few times before on Guitar Hero and on Rock Band, but the usual fast tempo song is now very slow paced and a bit more soothing. Overall, it’s a great cover from Tanaka Rie. It was a little hard to hear her despite having much better English than anyone else. Still, I at least would say this is worth listening to. I was a bit scared at the end when she says “I get pissed. Destroy.” I don’t ever recall that in the actual song, but I guess I should find out.

Score: 8.0/10.0

London’s Burning
Okay, what’s with all the anti-Europe? Yeah, I get they’re from English bands but… lol, whatever. I had no idea the song would actually start off with Yuuko’s moe Mikuru voice going “London’s burning!” As cheerful as it is, it’s almost freaky. Again, did the seiyuu know what they were saying? I guess that doesn’t really matter so I should stop concerning myself over it. I can’t figure out what Gotouza-sama is actually saying most of the time aside from “London’s burning.” If I can describe it in one word… pyromaniacal.

Score: 6.0/10.0

Call Me
After the six seiyuu get their swing, it’s back to Halko and this time she takes on Blondie’s famous Call Me song. I know the song pretty well, actually, so hearing the song was amazing, as it didn’t have to transform into a more denpa style song. Finally, I get to hear her say more than just the same three words over and over again and that’s satisfying. Now that I can tell Halko can sing Engrish, I was able to enjoy it more.

Score: 7.5/10.0

God Save the Queen
Hate to say it, but I’m just not really feeling Haruna. Not saying she’s doing a bad job, but it’s not actually something superb either, even though I do enjoy listening to her sing. Like I said though, it just doesn’t really stand out to me. Maybe it was just her songs? I mean, hey, if she got a Metallica song or something, then I’d be catching on.

Score: 6.0/10.0

Blitzkrieg Bop
Hey, ho! Let’s go! Hey, ho! Let’s go! Finally, a tune that’s fun and bubbly! Well, the Ramones’ song wasn’t really bubbly, but it was something to light up too with it’s melody and rhythm. Again, Kaori makes this song sound so good, almost like it suited her. Well, it did, so there’s really no surprise there.

Score: 9.0/10.0

Search and Destroy
We’re back at Kadowaki Mai again, and she pulls another excellent cover. I’ve only heard Search and Destroy from Guitar Hero II, but I liked it a lot, so this was another song I was looking forward to. The song actually doesn’t sound that moe but with Mai on the vocals, it sounds both daringly cute and awesome as the original. The instruments are perfect and Mai does a job well done with her Engrish, particularly when she gets to “somebody gotta save my soul!” Now that I think about it, she almost reminds me of Misao from LS, just not as wacky in the voice.

Score: 9.5/10.0

Ruby Soho
Looks like Tanaka Rie can’t help but sound good every time, and that’s fine with me because she deserves it. This was my first time listening to Ruby Soho. Frankly, it’s a great song and with Rie, she makes it all the greater. Like before, her voice is really clear and it has a sort of strong presence. The chorus is quite catchy that sometimes I wanna sing along. This is my second favorite track on the album.

Score: 10.0/10.0

Smells Like Teen Spirit
Wow, the final song is a Nirvana cover. I think they should’ve done more of them, but oh well. Anyway, Gotouza-sama is on the mic again, thankfully not singing about London burning down. Her version of this song sounds slightly melancholy and also calm for some reason. I think her voice makes it so, but that’s just me. Not a bad one at all, I’d say; although, it is a little unnerving that this is the last song of the album.

Score: 8.0/10.0

Final Thoughts:
What looked like it was gonna be massive idiocy (okay, not really) turned out to be the funnest Engrish-infested denpa-like album ever, and with seiyuu, no less! Whoever was responsible for coming up with this deserves a medal because it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, and because I had lower expectations, I liked it more in the end. It might sound cringing, but once you do give it a listen, it really isn’t that bad. Some songs are better than others, of course, but overall, the album is not something to pass up, especially since you know what they’re singing.

Total Score: 8.3/10.0

Verdict: They have to have a second album. Like, seriously.

Earlier last year I decided to pick up the Tsubasa manga and instantly got a addicted. I arrived at the latest chapter (at the time) pretty quickly and I was roughly just in the time to catch Tokyo Revelations. Before that though, I had attempted to give the TV series a try but for one reason or another I stopped at the second episode or so. Maybe it was because the changes were already getting to be too much and there were some notable scenes that were left out. Although I’m not sure of the reason for that, I’m just glad that I was able to experience the wonderful Tokyo arc in animated glory.

Simply put, this OVA was magnificent. You definitely have to be a manga reader who is caught up to the latest chapters or at least to the Tokyo arc to be able to fully understand and enjoy this. I’ll start off with the presentation. The animation was marvelous. Absolutely flawless in my eyes as it measured up perfectly to CLAMP’s original designs. Of course, that sort of stuff is to be expected of an OVA which so much time was invested into. The sounds of Tokyo Revelations were astounding. You won’t find pieces like those that grace almost every scene anywhere else. If you’ve seen or even listened to the TV series music, you’ll know what to expect here. That is, pure bliss flowing past your ears constantly.

As for the characters, a lot of revelations are brought to light (thus the title of the OVA). Assuming you’ve read the manga (it’s a requirement actually) the things revealed here were huge shockers at the time. I recall being completely dumbfounded at the fact that the Syaoran from the start of the series was a “fake”/clone. The Real/True Syaoran took me off guard because I had initially thought that he was the clone that was waiting for Syaoran and the others to arrive at the place he resided. I’m still glad to this day that I was dead wrong. Kurogane also found out from the Real Syaoran that his mother was killed by Fei Wong, the series villain/jackass. The other revelation though not as big as the others is finding out that Fai’s source of magic is his eyes. Overall there was an immense rush of information, emotions, and growth that took place during this arc. One person who specifically benefited a great deal was Sakura herself who grew beyond my expectations during the final stretch of the arc. Seeing her travel alone and conquering obstacles on her own without the help of others was one of the most emotional and awe-inspiring events in the entire story. It was all just lovely to watch unfold in animated form.

I really enjoyed the Tokyo Revelations OVA. It was excellently done was pretty much 100% faithful to the manga. One of the things I’m hoping for in the future is more OVAs of the remaining chapters/arcs. I don’t mind waiting a month or so between episodes as long as they’re faithful the manga. At this point it goes without saying that I recommend this OVA to any and all Tsubasa fans who haven’t seen it yet (which I find hard to believe). Yes, you do have to read the manga to be able to understand and fully enjoy this OVA but doing so will wrap you into what I feel is one of the most well-written and character-driven stories out there. Enough wasting time! Go and watch the OVAs/read the manga! If you have already then go do it again! As for me, I can hardly wait for the new OVAs that will begin next month.! ^__^

[ Episode 12: Mission ]

The End is Super Special!

And so, CHAOS;HEAD has ended. That was a rather interesting fight. At more than one point I had no idea what the hell was going on. I didn’t know whether or not if Takumi was really getting skewered or not despite how the show loves to use illusions. I must admit though, that Harem ending he was having delusions of was pretty damn hilarious much in part to Sena confessing to Takumi and pissing off the rest of the girls. Speaking of the girls, their involvement in the finale was pretty indirect. Instead of sending power to Takumi I had thought they’d join him in the fight against Gen’ichi but I suppose that would’ve dragged the battle out longer. Still, I was expecting a more direct battle with a mixture of delusions but the way it was played out turned out to be okay. The last blow was pretty cool-looking as well.

As for the ending…it felt kind of odd. Sure, it ended the way it started and answered the question “Is she going to kill him?” but that was known already by the love confessions and such. Everything was restored back to normal and Sena, Kozupii, Yua, and Nanami all arrived to join up with Takumi and Rimi. Honestly, I thought that the ending felt rushed. They could have at least show some epilogue scenes during the ending sequence until the very end to show us how everyone went on to leave afterward. Perhaps an OVA is in the works? Who knows for sure aside from the studio itself. I just wished that the ending had more closure that what was given. Even so, I enjoyed watching CHAOS;HEAD from beginning to end. It was a pleasure having my mind messed with by the technobabble in the earlier episodes. Some of my favorite scenes were easily Yua’s constant and freaky synonym-repetition and FES’s concert and Yuki-like explanation of all that was going on behind the scenes. Takumi isn’t going to be an easy protagonist to forget about either given how he was pretty much useless and the near-ultimate hikikomori for most of the series. He’s been quite the interesting guy, that’s for sure.

So while CHAOS;HEAD was a nice ride I felt that it could have been much better had the build-up from previous episodes had been maintained, the villain more properly developed, and the final battle conclusion being more well-written and scripted (cliché!). It does a good job being what it is though and I can’t fault it for that. I’d recommend it to friends and others because I feel it is a show that, while nothing groundbreaking, is still something that should be experienced. It’s been real C;H!

When I said the last fight would be intense, it really turned out to be intense. Mentally, that is. Unsurprisingly, yet interestingly enough, delusions and mind games were all but absent and somehow Takumi was able to break through them all. Love is power? Firstly, I had to laugh my ass right off seeing Takumi getting pulled into the ground like quicksand, leaving only his eyeballs left. So I guess that explains one thing: those eyes… whose eyes are those? Takumi’s eyes, that’s whose!

Takumi took down Noah II pretty damn fast, so it felt, I dunno, anti-climatic? It certainly wasn’t not climatic… I think if Seira-tan was Takumi’s final obstacle, it would’ve turned out to be the greatest battle ever (not), but I was satisfied with the battle, even though the old idiot really didn’t do much. Though, those were some pretty strong delusions he used. That harem dream was whack, but I think what was really unsettling was right before that when Takumi was being skewered(?) and Rimi was watching with a grin on her face. Oh yeah, and… he opened up her shirt in the middle of a fight? Lawl. This guy’s bold. Right after everything returned to peace, Takumi was seen laying on the floor for some reason. Um… didn’t he just win? Why’s he so bent out of shape in the next scene? This particular scene is the exact one we saw at the beginning of the first episode. When the girls were talking about the Shibuya River, I immediately thought of TWEWY again. After all that’s said and done, Shibuya reconstructs itself back to normal and everyone’s happy, and then all of a sudden it ends like that. Areeeeee?!

I was expecting there to be some actual conclusion, heck even in the credits would’ve been fine, but it was the usual super special ending song Super Special. I still don’t get why they have angel wings. This filthy, defiler, disgrace of a show (BTW, nice insert during the final battle) was definitely all right by me, but a lot of shit that went down just wouldn’t fly to my standards. Spanning only twelve episodes based on a game seems rather short and would require cramming a lot of bits and pieces in. Had it been twice that amount like Higurashi, it would’ve been less confusing for me. I guess I have the game to look at whenever I feel up to it.

It was a fun ride following this to the end. Takumi changed dramatically, from an otaku recluse living inside some base storage house thing (WTF is that, anyway?) to now… I dunno, still living in there, but now with more value to his life? Now that Shogun’s gone I guess he can live out his life the way he wants, just like he had been doing in the beginning. So the only thing he really gained from this was a girl plus more girls, without even trying to trigger flags. Good show, Takumi! ‘Kay, guess I can change my mind about you, but try not to drink so much Coca Cola… Overall, anyone wanting to see weirdness and technological psychological warfare should check this out, especially Higurashi fanatics. C;H, thanks for the memories!
