This week’s episode of the QBcle reintroduces the seiyuu edition that Gene and I had experimented weeks ago, trying to find new ways of bringing… some sort of theme to the podcast instead of talking about various random things on the fly. Not that those are unwanted, it’s just that with the way it is, there’s really no room to have a major focus on something.

In the “pilot,” Gene and I basically selected a few number of seiyuu to talk about for thirty minutes. Now with this, it’s about twice as long, but a little under one hour. There’s no real discussion on seiyuu as the last time. Instead, we (that is, Blade, Gene, and I) talk about the results of the Seiyu Awards, the new FMA cast… and plenty more things that a lot of people have no idea what we’re talking about, hence the title. Just sit back and enjoy.

Otaku Inbou has recently gone through changes… a lot of changes. The supposed “latency” issues and whatnot never fully reached my end. I’m still not exactly sure why it had to end up this way, because personally I think it’s just redundant.

That being said, we’re limited to two to three people for each session. Now that doesn’t mean we can’t interchange between the staff. We can, but due to lack of communication, there’s no telling if that will even happen at all. For the moment, I’ve set up the new podcast featuring Blade and me. As the DJs, we host and talk music, from explaining why we don’t care for ALI PROJECT to wondering who the hell was the person responsible for using a song by Jinn for CODE GEASS.

As always, comments are very much appreciated. I know some of you out there actually do listen to it, but without any feedback, we don’t know what you guys want from us, so let us hear you out; we’re all ears.

The crew had discussed how we would be able to shape up the podcast even more. One of the ideas we had was to have a second podcast pertaining to other interests, ones which would be thoroughly talked about so that we don’t ever get off-rail. So the fruits of our labor came out to this: the seiyuu edition of the Otaku Inbou podcast. Hosted by Gene and I, we basically just talk about our favorite seiyuu for this first experimental podcast episode. We hope you enjoy it, at least the parts where I didn’t royally fudge up my explanation on the Higurashi series. I apologize for the mishap. It clocks in at exactly half an hour, that’s about 1/3 the usual talk.

Again, this is for experimental sake and we plan to improve ourselves more. Hopefully if enough people like, we can continue this edition in the future. We’re still on for our regularly scheduled recordings so don’t fret if you’ve been waiting for those. #4 is on its way and I’m working on #5.
