[ Episode 7: The Suspicious Black Underwear ]

A hopeless pervert as usual…

Fuck yes, 20th Century Boys parody at the end. I thought that was great especially with Mariya as Friend. Good timing too as the DVD for the first 20th Century Boys live action movie was just released pretty recently. Anyways, this episode was mostly centered around Yuzuru who was pretty much jealous that her bitch Sachi was taken away by Kiri. I didn’t really care to be honest because I already had a feeling of what was really happening and how it would get resolved. So overall, this episode was pretty ordinary for me. Kanako’s yuri fanfiction narration was the highlight of this episode for me. Fucking awesome. Also the part where they were all clapping for Kanako to do her “performance.” We have everybody cheering “Kanako-chan” or “Miyamae-san”, then it goes to Mariya and Matsurika cheering “female pig.” Shit was hilarious, along with the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei reference.

The underwear conflict wasn’t really important after all unlike what I hoped and speculated. It was kinda just a LOL YURI moment they were leading into from the last episode which was pretty disappointing. Pretty similar to the seaweed covered dog incident in a prior episode. And is it just me or does anybody else get scared when they switch the art style to the one in the second screenshot? Not sure what they’re trying to mimic there, but that always creeps me out.
