[ Episode 18: End of the Path ]

They won’t stop flowing. T_T

I thought we finished BAWWing for this anime already. After an episode of moe, we’re back to this again. Well this just another great episode. Great use of lightening and colors, kudos to KyoAni. The background scenery was beautiful as well. And looking at the screenshots, the contrast between day and the sunset was really well done. Also lol I just noticed how big Ushio’s head is compared to her body. And that she basically has only one set clothes.

Tomoya has found his reason to live and protect once again so he’ll be back to normal soon enough. I liked how Sanae planned the whole thing out with Tomoya meeting his grandmother. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a just as planned face on her when she sees the change in Tomoya and his new attitude towards Ushio. I’m guessing he’ll try to reconcile with his father next episode. Maybe help him get back on his feet if he hasn’t yet. We still have a good amount of episodes left and I’m not sure how they’ll spend the rest of it. Kappei route maybe?

Didn’t show much of the girl in the alternate universe for this one. They’re just letting us know she’s still alive somehow. She didn’t have a synchronized death with Nagisa so the chibi robo still has a chance for a good end at this point. The similarities between them are rather many so I’m still betting that she’ll die in a later episode filled with many robot tears. Then after his emo goth phase, he’ll befriend a passing bear who will teach him the true meaning of living and dying. That bear will eventually get seriously wounded in a fight with the chief bear of the village. After a shounen like powerup, chibi robo defeats the chief bear and realizes… Ahh. I just realized I spoiled the ending. o:
