Asu no Yoichi! ep. 3

[ Episode 3: Amazing If You Take It Off! ]

The samurai gets comfy and two more girls are already added to his harem. Jokes aside, it was a decent episode, but didn’t really hit the mark. Not like I’m expecting it to this early on…
So finally the unknown characters in the OP are introduced. Firstly, Tsubasa’s self introduction was absolutely cute, half hiding behind the door like that. Based on first impression, one would say she is really really shy. She may be shy, but she certainly has skills. So far we’ve seen her slice a soccer ball in two, leap on tall poles and whatnot, fall over a lot, and perform Kawarimi no Jutsu successfully. As always, Makino Yui knows just how to sound like a sweet girl without even trying so hard. So she seems to become very lethal once her embarrassment level rises over 9000. I somehow get this feeling that they’ll be abusing that later on. Angie gives off the aura of a mother; a very strict mother. I guess I understand why not TV, but, come on now, music too? You’re not setting a very good example of yourself having you and Tsubasa done S&M clothes. Yet another quick Yoichi battle, which brings us to more verbal conduct and peace. Guess that means these two will be adding fuel to the fire in Yoichi’s burning hot soul… and a beating or two from Ibuki.
Next to these two females we have the mystery masked man also seen in the OP. Apparently he wants to kill Yoichi for some unknown reason as of yet. He also appears to have lots of money on him, for someone that looks at most middle class. If he’s so rich and can walk around, why doesn’t he just get his own hands dirty and finish Yoichi off himself? Perhaps he’s too weak for Yoichi, like everyone else, and needed those two girls to deceive him. Well, now that he’s lost his clients, I wonder just what he’ll do next.

Along with Washizu vision comes Tsubasa vision. While not as erotically enhanced, it does increase the bishie in just about every guy except for those that aren’t Washizu, which isn’t saying much. I’ve noticed since episode 2 that Washizu constantly wears a hoodie everywhere he goes, even in his damn school uniform. I’ve never seen anyone wear a hoodie inside the blazer. Pretty ghetto. Anyway, now that he gave his hoodie to Tsubasa, I’m guessing he’ll be more akin to the dress code of the school. Also, Washizu’s cronie Torikaya is a tool.
Since the focus was on Tsubasa mostly, there wasn’t much screentime for the other girls; though I rather enjoyed the Ayame bits in the beginning. From what I’ve gathered, she’s becoming more friendly and maybe developed feelings for Yoichi in typical tsundere fashion. Oh, the nerve. Look what you’ve done, you stupid samurai.
