CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~ ep. 16

[ Episode 16: White Darkness ]
BAWWWWWW

The hints were dropped, spoilers were everywhere, and yet I still BAWW’d when it hit. Oh how I remember the day when I RAGED that the first season was gonna be Nagisa end. Tomoya had Kyou and Tomoyo for the pickings, and yet he chose the moeblob. Then second season comes rolling about, and after a while I accept and say “Ok, he chose Nagisa, and she ain’t that bad when I think about it. Let’s see how hard I’ll BAWW when she dies.” And here it is. I shed tears, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Everything happened pretty fast. As soon as the snowstorm hit, I was like “oh lawd this is it. Time to brace for impact.”
Preview shows an emo and angsty Tomoya. I hate when a character goes through this mood. It’s depressing and it even makes me RAGE sometimes. I understand it and all, but bah it’s always a pain to watch for me. Hopefully this won’t be too long. Of course soon he’ll probably figure out this is same exact thing that happened to his father. Maybe it will be the father that snaps Tomoya out of it in a ironic twist.
I’ve always had a feeling that the girl in the other world is linked to Nagisa somehow. So with Nagisa gone, that girl might be dead as well due to the winter cold. I would have had a hard time believing anyway if that contraption the robot was building would actually fly. I wonder if he’ll go through an angst phase too if she really did die. xD

Nagisa. She died. ;_; Anyway, after the initial shock of it (yes, the hints were overwhelming, but even then…) we get a preview for the next episode. I wonder if perhaps it will be a ‘what-if’ situation of him never meeting Nagisa – since the sign at his door in the preview didn’t have the Okazaki Tomoya and Okazaki Nagisa paper, it could mean that it was never there, or just that Tomoya took it away in anger. I would prefer seeing a what-if rather than a direct sequel to Nagisa’s death, since the sequel will definitely be sad and as you said, angsty. Oh well – I’ll just have to wait. Thanks for another good review!
Jam and bread would have saved her. ;_;
