[ Episode 3: Budding Masochism ]

…what’s with this crazy turn of events?

Lots of inner dialogue from Kanako in this episode. She reminds me of Tenma from School Rumble a bit on how far and outrageous her delusions and thinking goes. In fact, both Kanako and Tenma have a similar scene where they try to figure out the intentions of somebody else through the kanji characters of the clue(s). To refresh those memories, Tenma got a turtle from Karasuma and somehow that led to her believing he wanted to have the school play about Sleeping Beauty.

It’s interesting how far a girl’s jealously can go, especially when it’s for another girl. xD With Ryuuken’s declaration to protect Kanako, things will probably just get harder for her now. And her first opponent… an alaria covered dog! Not sure where they’re heading with that cliffhanger, but it sure was interesting when the atmosphere became creepy all of a sudden.

Aside from the beginning, I was displeased with the lack of my favorite trap and maid duo. I think I’m in love with the show most whenever those two get screen time so seeing Kanako babbling on and on without those two was a bit tedious. Especially since Mariya can enter her inner thoughts. xD But seriously, Kanako got really carried away at times to the point where I thought “wow you’re still talking?”
