[ Episode 3: Meskia, City Within the Tower ]

Better late than never to the climb to the top of the Tower of Druaga! Go! Go! Go!

It’s been a while since I’ve watched Druaga due to time restrictions and the like but I’ve decided to finally get caught up in order to be on-point for the second season that’s going to be airing soon. Hopefully I’ll be able to do the same for certain other shows with upcoming sequels *wink*. So! Let’s jump right in:

I could’ve sworn that Jil was going to get caught at the very start of the episode, but luckily his brother came and pulled him out of there in time. It’s pretty interesting though that the King is apparently immortal due killing Druaga and receiving a curse from him. That said, Jil looks a lot like Gil/Gilgamesh from the past and Kaaya looks a lot like Ki. Hmm, what’s going on there I wonder? Heck, Kaaya also meets with Gilgamesh in this episode where she is referred to as Ishara and gives her his old sword (to give to Jil). It’ll be interesting to see where things go from here even if it seems to be heading in a linear direction. However, with Druaga, there’s no telling when something will get the jump on you when you start to think one way.

Also, the newest party members are hilarious. Coopa is pretty cute and her master, Melt, is the mandatory old guy of the group. You know there always has to be one for wisdom sake and all that jazz. Though I’m not sure about Melt’s qualifications in that area so far given his personality…
