Yozakura Quartet ep. 10

[ Episode 10: A Thorny Road ]
The show is traveling down a thorny road indeed.

The more we delve closer to the finale, the more I lose interest in this show. If I were to sum up my thoughts about this episode into one word, that word would be: meh. I honestly don’t really care what’s happening right now because it’s not interesting nor do I understand what’s happening. What’s with the giant white blobs? Did Enjin set them free to cause trouble for the lulz? And I won’t even comment on their design. -_- It’s a pity that I didn’t even feel anything when Hime started crying. It was supposed to be an emotional, but I got nothing. I’m sorry, Hime.
I lol’d when that random civilian shouted out that the quartet is supposed to be their protectors. Entrusting a couple of teenagers with the huge responisibility to manage and protect a town full of hundreds is pretty much always a bad idea. Aren’t there adult yokai out there strong and responsible enough to do that job? I can understand Hime and Akina’s roles, but they’re still just kids. I wonder how Kotoha and Ao got dragged into in that mess.
Well we got 2 more episodes left (1 if you’re not behind like I am). And it seems like the finale will be decent at best the way things are going now. Even with all the negative things I said, the show isn’t by any means terrbile. Just borderline average.
