Shujin’s a major player! Well, it looks like he and Miyoshi are official a couple now. I myself prefer her over Iwase. You don’t shake someone’s hand to signify a relationship. Sounds very complex somewhat. Besides, she didn’t even want Shujin to continue manga, so obviously, Miyoshi would be the better choice.

Aside from the love affairs, it’s finally time for some talking with Hattori. I was amazed to read that famous manga-ka were the judges (Toriyama-sensei a judge? Whoa!) I wonder if it works exactly the same in real life. Saiko wants to enter into serialization already. I was thinking that was what they wanted to go for since the start, but it does make sense now.

+ Miyoshi is lovable and silly, and is going to take real good care of Shujin

Love hurts man. Many times literally too, which Shujin had the opportunity to learn first-hand in this chapter. Still, I must say it was rather surprising to know that Iwase liked him. She didn’t seem like the type of girl to be interested in that kind of thing at the current point in her life. Anyway, it seems like Shujin and Miyoshi are now an official couple. He really has no other choice since she can kick his ass without breaking so much as a sweat. More importantly, it looks as if Saiko is geared up to head straight for the prize: getting serialized in one shot. That’s a pretty lofty goal to achieve but I think that they try for this in order to improve. The question now is: Will they make it to serialization from this next idea?
