Gotta say, this was one heck of an awesome chapter. As the chapter title says, the Shujin/Saiko combo were full of anxiety and anticipation, so much that it was practically all they had in mind (e.g. Shujin’s grades dropping). Overall, this was completely Shujin’s chapter. When he works hard, he really works hard. It’s like every minute he can think up some story and write it out. Sure, most are just BS but hey, if it works, it works. I probably would not have done what he did, but I was glad he did it anyway, because that Ishizawa dork deserved it, pretty much. And hey, he’s got a couple of fans now. Go Shujin!

+ Great development of Shujin’s character
- It really blows that they didn’t win the Tezuka Award but it was to be expected. I think “100,000,000 Minutes” sounded good though. Way better than that Double Earth one, hahaha.

I really wanted Saiko and Shujin to at least get an honorable mention but it wasn’t to be yet. Nothing sucks more than working so hard to achieve a goal and falling short of it but such a tiny margin. Oh well, at least they made it that far. Come on, the final eight? That’s way beyond impressive seeing as I’m 99% sure that at least five or six times that number of people entered the contest. The end of the chapter was surprising though since I didn’t expected to see both Iwase and Miyoshi at Shujin’s house. What can be going on there I wonder?

Also, Shujin’s punch is powwwerrrful!
