Ah~, Medusa-senseiiiii! It was wonderful having this episode focus solely on her. It gave insight into the world of witches and also displayed just how awesome Medusa is among her peers. It was rather enjoyable seeing her push around a few of the other witches. Why? Well, simply because she’s one of the few villains that I actually like (in general). She’s definitely shown that she’s not one to mess with though as evidenced by what she did to the other two witches in the episode.
On another note, I think it’s pretty obvious that Stein suspects Medusa of being up to no good. It’s kind of like a foreshadowing of the two of them fighting in the future and if that’s the case then I’m looking forward to seeing it.

Great to see the show moving forward again with Medusa at the scene again. She’s a witch, all right. Actually, all the witches in the series seem to represent a different type of creature. Medusa is snake, Eruka is frog, and Mizune is a mouse. It makes each witch very much unique to each other in more ways than one. From the way she’s been acting you know something’s up with her. What exactly she’s plotting is uncertain from here but if it involves Shibusen, it’s clearly something to look out for.
Like Leon, I think Medusa is one of the best villains ever. I don’t really care for witches, but Ohkubo knows how to create witches, or even cat witches. Ah, yes, Blair was in this episode too! Both in her cute, cuddly cat form and also in her sexy, ladylike human form. Kid and Soul’s reactions were completely priceless.
