[ Episode 9: Holy Legendary Sword! Kid's and Black Star's Big Adventure? ]

Excalibur is annoying as freakin’ hell, but I can’t help but laugh because it’s so hilarious seeing Black Star and Kid lose it. Excalibur must love hearing himself talk, and he’s really full of himself so I just don’t see how anyone can put up with him. He may be a holy sword bringing victory and glory, but I don’t think following his 1000 rules is worth it. I really loved the faces Black Star and Kid made. The exact same expression on that fairy’s, at that. Can’t blame them for that. After all, I think even I would make the same face.

On a more serious note, Soul’s nightmare doesn’t look like just a nightmare. It’s obviously the effect of the black blood that went into his bloodstream during the fight with Ragnarok. What’s gonna become of him though?

This episode was absolute hilarity. While the beginning was pretty freaky with Soul coming out of Maka’s side (which was just a dream) the rest of the episode (minus the part with the explanation about Demon Gods) was a Kid and Black Star adventure. Their “quest” to find Excalibur wasn’t all that long but their encounter was all that matters. I would have never expected Excalibur to be such an annoying character. Though personally I find him to be absolutely HILARIOUS! I was rolling in my chair at the way he spoke and at all the “BAKA!” comments he spouted at Kid and Black Star. I almost thought that they were going to take him with them but of course there was no way in hell that was happening. Still, I loved how he set up a stage almost out of a wedding for them at the very end of the episode saying “I’ll always be waiting”. While I do love the serious stuff I hope that at least a few more episodes like this appear.
