Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

Ossu~. How’s life? Well looks like I’ll be starting this anniversary post off this time around. Where do I start though? Well, let’s see… kind of hard to believe it’s been two years since Leon and I started this blog. We were new to the whole thing too so it took time to get used to. Actually, I still don’t know much about the features to blogging or even the managing, but I leave that stuff to Leon so he’s pretty much the guy I go to when I don’t understand something.

Anyways, the blog’s went through a lot of changes. In fact, I started posting more often (but it’s nothing new!) so my goal is to keep up with more entries every now and then. Some of you may still wonder why I chose “Kita ze Inbou!” as the blog name. Well to answer that, I was just really stoked on Welcome to the NHK! that time. The dark humor and surreal atmosphere pulled me in and I just loved it, so I took their niche phrase inbou, Japanese for “conspiracy,” combined it with the 2channel phrase made famous by Densha Otoko, and voila, the conspiracy is here!

Not only did I work on a new banner, but I provided all three of us with nifty new icons. There’s a funny story actually… See, I thought the anniversary was on the 13th and so I forced myself to work on the banner two days before and finished it on the 12th. The time I took working on it was very much similar to when I worked on the one year anniversary banner. Yeah, I know, I realize that the old banner’s still up right now, but bear with it until the renovation is completed.

Well, I think I’ve ran out of note cards, because I’m out of things to say, but… to all the readers/visitors out their that come to KzI, thanks much! Please leave us any thoughtful comments you have for us more, I can’t really tell who’s reading and who’s just passing by. Here’s to another good year of conspiracy. Hell freakin… Otanoshimi ni!

Ahhh. It’s been two years since KZI was born. During that time there were a lot of changes. Heck, we even got a new writer near the beginning of this year. This year also saw me graduate from college/university and my first step into my career. So now I’m making the dough! Anyways, like I did before, I’d like to thank the readers (both silent and those that comment/vote) who still continue to visit KZI even if it isn’t as active as it used to be (well, on my part anyway). However, with this Fall season approaching, I’m trying to get back into full gear with blogging. I’ll have to be more selective this time around so as to not go insane with the amount of showings that I plan to watch.

Just like last year, a face-lift is in the works for KZI. Though it didn’t manage to be completed on time for our second anniversary, please do look forward to it some time at the start of the Fall 2008 anime season. Oh, and if you thought the banner Youko made last year was good then wait till you see the new one he came up with this time around. “KICK-ASS-AWESOME” best describes it, I say. Please do continue to visit us and I hope to be around for yet another year and another and…you get the point! =D

I remember when the site was just a single html po… Actually who am I kidding I have only been here since January blogging Kimi ga Aru… that show with the butler who can kick your ass by blinking!

Joking aside it was a very interesting year. I got to review a few shows and I promise that in the next year I’ll do more positive reviews than I do negative. I would also like to apologize that like Leon, I got a little overboard with the anime I wished to blog the past spring season and ended up with none since Kamen no Maid Guy’s subbing process hasn’t ended.

I’d also try to make more video reviews like I did a week ago, but it’s not something I can do in a sitting since my DVD isn’t working properly, but like I commented on the video itself, if you have any suggestions or games you’d like me to talk about, don’t be afraid and ask me, either I have the game or I’ll track it down for you ;).

To all of the KZI readers, I’d like to thank you for sticking with my long ass reviews until this way and to show appreciation, I’ll try to be diligent with my entries. Fall season is around the corner, the anime awards are going to be announced around December and I have a few surprises around my sleeve so expect for cool stuff in the future. Here’s for another great, albeit bizarre, KZI year!
