Is “HOLY F*CKING SH*T” too explicit? Hmm. Yeah it is, but that doesn’t stop it from being an appropriate reaction when it comes to this episode. I mean, seriously, Nunnally? Sayoko? Both dead? WHAT? It seems like it. Or are they? I still can’t bring myself to believe it after being stunned for at least a half hour or more after having seen the episode. Actually, I’m still stunned and struggling to be coherent while I write. I just can’t bring myself to believe that Nunnally or Sayoko are dead. That said, I have thought of the possibility of Sayoko using her abilities to ninja both her and Nunnally away from the explosion. It makes more sense than anything else happening…those being someone with a teleportation Geass or Charles somehow doing something. Speaking of which, why the hell has he come to Japan?
Anyways , a lot of other people died in this episode as well. Guilford’s death was pretty damn sad too given the fact that he thought he was saving Cornelia. He was loyal to the end even if it really wasn’t Cornelia but rather Lelouch. Speaking of Lelouch, I think his sanity is really on the ropes now. If the preview is any indication, he’s going to be really venting out at other people (like Rolo). It looks like he may have some trouble with his Black Knights as well given that Toudou most likely received whatever it was Asahina wanted to show him before he died. Kallen was freaking awesome and her new Guren SAITEN is absolutely godly. That’s what a Knightmare should be like! Oh yeah, she did kill off that Luci dude. Man was he annoying. Too bad she didn’t get Suzaku though thanks to the Geass’ “live” command.
At this point I don’t know what the hell is going to happen. After all, this IS Sunrise. They’re known for pulling off some crazy shit even if it doesn’t make any sense (well, they didn’t do it in Gundam 00 from what I can remember). That includes “resurrections” and other “WTF” bits of writing and imagery that we can only begin to imagine.

fgsfds.
Okay… what. the. bloody. hell. was that? And I thought the last few episodes were mindblowing, this one takes the cake this time. It’s about as unexpected as Stage 22 if you ask me. I really did think it was looking good at first, but perhaps maybe too good to be true.
Kallen finally gets out of that chamber (and out of that horrific attire) and into her new suit and new Guren. I gotta say, that thing is damn impressive. This whole S.A.I.T.E.N. thing is undoubtedly the most godliest thing we’ve seen yet. Now that’s how Guren should look like. Major “buff”ering thanks to Lloyd and Cecile. Now I’m looking forward to Lancelot’s upcoming mod as well. In any case, I was really glad Kallen shut little Luci boy up, and with the same words he used before. Unfortunately, Nina didn’t shut up and I couldn’t stand it.
Anyways, the turning point was obviously when Suzaku’s “live” command kicked in again. Now from the way it looks like, Suzaku can’t ever die now and because of that, he was re-commanded once again in the worse place possible as he fired that nuke (though, you really can’t blame Suzaku for that one). Of course, that entire moment triggered the deaths of surprisingly a great number of people, including Sayoko and Nunnally?! You gotta be shitting me. There’s something wrong with that direction. Among the other deaths, I really though Guilford’s was so sad. He died protecting Lelouch, whom he saw as Cornelia due to the Geass. He was really loyal but was played in the end. Cornelia’s gonna be pissed.
Next episode looks like a really depressing one, judging by the preview. Lelouch looks in a really not good mood. I wonder what he’s gonna do with Rolo still. That guy wanted to kill Nunnally too. What the heck is gonna happen next? Some special magic that makes it seem like the people really didn’t die, or something else? You can always count on Sunrise to pull some crazy shit outta their ass.

I thought the live command would have expired by now. Hasn’t it been months since Lelouch was on the island with Suzaku?
Also, I highly doubt anyone on Nunnally’s shuttle is dead. It was waaaaaay too implied. Remember when Ougi fell off a cliff with Viletta? They were back like the next episode as if nothing odd had happened.
I don’t even think we found out the actual length of time the Geass can still function. We gotta see if that wall-carving girl is still there.
@Kabitzin & Youko: Geass commands don’t expire, so the one on Suzaku ain’t gonna go unless the Orange erases it with his Canceler. It’s also been reported that Carve-tan was brought to the mainland, but still wakes up in her sleep to try and get to the academy all the way in Japan, and had to be restrained.
Long live princess nunally
After getting over my initial shock, I’m still thinking that Sayoko could have ninja’d them both out of the blast. Or of course the douchebag Charles could have had something to do with it which would require some explanation (no BS explanation either).
On another note, Jeremiah really should use his Geass Canceller to remove Suzaku’s live command. Seriously.
So umm…
Why isn’t there an eject cockpit mechanism on Lancelot again?
