[ Turn 13: The Assassin from the Past]

First thing’s first. F*CK you Rollo. Seriously, why the hell did he kill Shirley? Just because she mentioned Nunnally? I can’t begin to imagine what sort of repercussions he’ll suffer because of this in the future. Well, that is if it is found out that he was the one responsible for her death. Lelouch is pretty damn devastated as expected. It doesn’t help that the past few episodes focused on him and Shirley getting closer and even admitting feelings for each other. What kind of emotional impact will Shirley’s death have on his actions from now on? What will he do when he eventually finds out that Rollo is responsible for her death? Hopefully these answers come sooner rather than later.

I was rather surprised to see that Orange is now on Lelouch’s side. Well, then again he was rather devoted to Marianne in the past so it isn’t out of the question that he’d serve under her son for her sake. Knowing Lelouch, I believe he’ll take advantage of the Geass Canceller from now on. The possibilities are endless.

Well shit. It’s not like we weren’t expecting it but, shit, this was a really bad sign from the start that something big was going to happen. I’m just shocked that it was actually Rolo that did the deed. I kinda understand that it was to protect Lelouch but going as far as to do her in was not what I’d consider an answer. If anything, I’d say that worsen the problem than making it a solution. However, what’s done is done, and Lelouch had to face it, not matter how painful that was. This has been the saddest moment in the season by far, even more than the massacre incident IMO.

With one loss though, came one gain, as it appears Lelouch suddenly got Jeremiah turning sides. Nice work, Lelouch. This is a great way for him to go off against Charles. I really loved it when he mopped the floor with Rolo. I have a feeling Lelouch will be readying those G-Train equipped with the disturbers sooner than soon. It’s gonna be pretty damn lethal but I wonder what’s next after that? A grand episode worth an A, perhaps AA+.

BTW, a new OP/ED. I’m not crazy about WORLD END, but I like the song. Still has nothing on COLORS (or even WORD OF THE VOICE). And well, I’m not a huge ALI PROJECT fan but it works. I’ve always loved the CLAMP designs used for the ED sequence.
