D.Gray-man ep. 71-82

It’s been long while since I was able to catch up to my posts for DGM. The journey has been quite long and many things have happened. After Allen regained his Innocence and obtained his new power, Crown Clown, he was finally able to join up with his friends in Edo. His first order of business was with the Earl and wasted no time in striking at him. Of course after a few powerful exchange, the Earl decided to flee since the download of the Ark was nearing completion. Tyki and Skin left with him as well. However their troubles were far from over since they were dragged into the Ark which just happens to be disappearing because of certain parts already being completely downloaded. This brought forward a new threat to Allen, Lenalee, and the rest as they had to fight doors to leave certain rooms (thanks to Road and Tykki) and also fight along the way. The first fight being Kanda vs. Sknin.

I always found the Kanda vs. Skinn fight to be pretty intense but the anime took it to another level. Everything was just magnified thanks to the crisp sounds and colours and mostly to the seiyuu who gave their all to convince viewers that they were fighting to the death. When it was all said and done though, Skin was defeated (and killed) but Kanda was out of luck in regards to reaching the exit that Allen and company had already gone through (it was destroyed). His fate is unknown but one can’t help but think that there’s no way he can’t be dead.
The next conflict arises when Allen and the others meet up with Jasdebi. Personally, I find those two to be total idiots but hilarious ones at that. So I don’t really hate them. Anyway, Jasdebi’s ability is to create any type of bullet they desire and shoot them. Even though that is so we’ve only seen around six types of bullets so far (Blue= ice, Red = fire, White= some disappearing thing, Purple = deceiving spectacles, Green = some funny as hell jello thing, and Memory). The most influential of those have been the purple bullet because everyone was affected by it and as a result had them seeing hundreds of keys (do the exit) on the floor as well as robbing them of their sight of Jasdebi themselves. After some fighting, Lavi manages to find the original key and dispels their deception technique. This prompts the twins to show their true form and they fuse into one body: true Jasdebi.
With that transformation, the time for serious ass-kicking has arrived! I think by know it should be apparent who will end up fighting Jasdebi, right?
