Training is unavoidable but I don't like it when the progress to completion is extremely slow, I'd prefer the character just develop through events that occur within the main plot stream. There aren't that many episodes shown in a year since its released once a week, so it might take a while. But for some reason i can't print out the anime pictures you have here, because on some anime websites like "memento" (another anime website) I can't click the picture on this website when you click the picture at the website "memento" the picture goes bigger.
