I'm a bit late on finding this, but you know the irony is that the dubbed version has Yusei voiced by the guy who did Tristan's voice. And Dan Green (the guy who did Yami/Atem) voices the rival. I can't watch the dubbing due to these factors.

Maybe they could try a dignified, real-world approach, without ancient voodoo or holograms? Just two guys sitting down with a deck of cards going at it.

@celes: I judged the show by the first episode only so if gets better I may give it a shot, but it doesn't interest me.

@esparafucio: I was waiting for a comment like that. I'd just say this, celes at least pointed out why it doesn't suck, so don't just call me a noob and convince me why it's not bad.

I don't think 5D's is a garbage..

Sure, riding duel might be a little outrageous. But hey, it is an innovation right?
Don't you sometimes get tired of watching classic duel? Well, 5D's gives you two kinds of duel, classic and riding. It is good innovation IMO.

Besides, in the later ep, the story gets better and more interesting like in ep 6.

In the end, i just want to say that GX is not a bad sequel. The first ep was really good. And not even 5D's first ep is as good as that
