New Soul Calibur IV Screens - Amy, Cervantes, and Zasalamel Return

![]()
This isn’t a surprise than it is an awaited inevitability. Amy is looking rather amazing compared to her SCIII appearance but I suppose it was because she was a pre-made custom character in that game and didn’t receive as much detail as the main cast. She looks to be more involved in the tournament this time around. I wonder who her Destined Battle will be with? Of course SC would be a little off if the dual sword wielding pirate Cervantes didn’t return. He’s been around since Soul Blade so it’s expected of him to remain a series regular and favorite. Zasalamel also returns looking as angry as ever. Dude needs to learn how to smile a bit more, though that’ll probably scare off some people…

[ Episode 11: Wolf and the Great Plan ]

So, Horo and Lawrence have made up. That was more than expected, really. I wouldn’t have liked to see the dispute between them drag on needlessly anyway. This episode signifies the start of a seemingly dangerous plan that was concocted by none other than Horo which involves smuggling gold and the assistance of Nora. I’m quite interested to see how this plan will succeed. Will it all go well? Or will something hinder the smuggling process? Additionally, does Nora have some pagan magic up her sleeve or is she just a really blessed young woman? Hopefully all that and more is shown in the last two episodes.

Better late than never I always say. This manga just started to be scanlated thanks to Gievmoar and So Sexy Scans. Bloody Monday opens with a mysterious woman only known as Orihara Maya obtaining a virus in Russia. The purpose of the virus is yet to be revealed and Maya is a ruthless woman who lets no one leave alive once she’s on the job. The story revolves around a legendary hacker named Falcon. He’s known for helping take down criminals and unveiling dirty laundry but suddenly disappeared. Enter Fujiwara Takagi who is the legendary super hacker Falcon. Takagi finds himself suddenly involved in a mess of violence that is somehow connected to the virus and something called “Bloody Monday”. Maya finds her way to his school and is now his teacher. Only time will tell what will happen between the two as the story progresses.

I don’t know how much more excited I can get for this game but it seems like I haven’t reached my limit yet. The latest Famitsu revealed a new character designed by Keroro Gunso mangaka, Yoshizaki Mine, who goes by the name of Angol Fear. This new character is supposedly related to another character of his in Keroro Gunso: Angol Mois. Like pKjd pointed out, she seems to possess a Lucifer Spear which I hope foreshadows some of her moves.
Still, I never expected to see this sort of development in Soul Calibur even if Yoda and Darth Vader are in the game. With the game scheduled for release on the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 this summer, I wonder what other surprises will be revealed before then?
Doubt chapter 5

![]()
What the hell is going on in this manga?! When I first started Doubt a few weeks ago I didn’t know what to expect after seeing a bunch of people wearing rabbit heads. Picking it up revealed to me that it’s actually about a game where players are ‘rabbits’ and must find the ‘wolf’ among themselves before it kills them. The game turns into reality very quickly and the sense of danger skyrockets. Who’s the first person to die? Well I was surprised to see that it was a disabled person (female and with mangled wheelchair and all). I was speechless the moment I saw Rei pinned to the wall with blood all over. It was just totally messed up.
