Wow. Just wow. Bleach shocked the hell out of me earlier this week when I heard that the flashback chapters were starting and on top of that the Vaizards were once apart of the Gotei 13. Seeing Shinji as captain of the 5th Division was awesome and hilarious at the same time because he was once sporting extremely long hair! Not only that, his lieutenant was Aizen! Oh man, he looked so noobish back then. Lisa was the lieutenant of the 8th Division, Hiyori seemed to be the lieutenant of the 13th Division, and Love as well as Rose were Captains as well.

This chapter also showed that Urahara was the new guy among the Captains because the previous Captain, who goes by the name of Hikifune, was promoted. Yes, she was promoted. To the 0 Division also known as the Royal Guard. I always knew that they were mysterious but this bit of info seems to suggest that the Royal Guard is filled with people more powerful than even the Captains of the Gotei 13! o_o

Man, I can hardly wait to see more of these chapters and also a little info on Hikifune since it seems like she may play an important role in the future.

D.Gray-man 154

The highlights of this chapter are as follows: Lenalee and Allen. Together. Kicking Level 4 ASS all over the place. Seriously, it doesn’t get any better than seeing my two favorite characters own the hell out of that uber-powered Akuma. Lenalee’s new Innocence is looking awesome and lovely and it’s nice to see that she’s gotten used to it even just a little. I like how she commented on the feel of her new Innocence-type, which basically tells me that we’ll be seeing a lot more power, speed, and agility from her in the future.

As for Cross, he makes yet another badass entrance and apparently helped Lenalee and Allen take out the Level 4 by using his Innocence, Maria. It looks like he’ll be collecting it for his experimentation, though honestly he should just let something as ugly as that die. >_>

NARUTO 395

After having survived the extremely boring Sasuke vs. Itachi fight, I welcomed this change of focus with open arms. This chapter was a lot more exciting than those Uchiha chapters and by a huge margin at that. Tobi is basically messing around with Konoha as they simply can’t touch this guy no matter how hard they try. Hell, not even Shino’s bugs can do anything against him. I’m not sure what his technique is but I’m guessing Kakashi is right by saying it’s a space/time ninjutsu that he’s using. Which I guess is all thanks to the mangekyou sharingan.
