I think it goes without saying that this episode was awesome. These are the chapters that I really loved from way back. This episode reminded me of just how shocked I was when Ulquiorra revealed himself to be the Number Four Espada. Sure, there was a chance of him not being the top but I wasn’t expecting him to be in that position. The other shock came from the difference in power between him and Ichigo. If Ichigo can’t even beat him then he doesn’t have a chance against Stark, Halibel, and the old guy who are obviously the top three. As far as the manga goes their numbers still haven’t been revealed yet but my guess is that Stark is the top Espada. My reasons for saying that are just because of the way he behaved in the short times we’ve seen him. I’d like it if Halibel was Number Two especially since Bleach lacks any strong female antagonists.

As for Ichigo, I say he’s screwed as far as the rest of this arc goes with fighting Ulquiorra and beyond. There’s just no way he can power up in such a short amount of time. That is of course Kubo doesn’t go all DBZ on us and finds some ridiculous way to skyrocket his power level. The Syzael fight is about to get more interesting now that Uryuu is on the scene though we’re really in for a really long fight with those three, especially since it just recently ended in the manga. Orihime’s going to be alright even though Loly and Menoly are going to get in a few blows here and there (even though what they’re doing is lame I still have to say that Loly is hot ). Next episode promises some Grimmjow too. You know when he’s around nothing good is bound to happen to those around him.
