[ Episode 3: Friends ]

This episode deals with the delicate issue of suicide. I didn’t particularly look for the alteration that was made to this episode but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Maybe it’s just me but I found Sen’s shigofumi to be hilarious for some reason. I mean really, he wanted to experience what would happen if he jumped? What did he THINK would happen? That he’d just be able to brush himself off and walk away? Nah. Of course not. You’d be dead in every meaning of the word. His friends, particularly Kotake seemed to want to do something similar in the beginning of the episode but after what happened to Sen I doubt that he’ll be trying something like that again.

Kaname might be a recurring character if his suspicions about Fumika are correct. Is she the girl from his past who shot her father? For some reason I was thinking that she was a courier for hundreds of years or so but that was just a fleeting thought really. I just love the way she speaks, especially when it’s about humanity since I agree with what she says in regard to them.

Okay, lemme get this straight. Sen just jumped. He didn’t think about wanting to live or wanting to die. No. He just jumped. Okay, maybe we have had thoughts about going emo and junk, but jumping out of the blue? Now that’s incomprehensible in my eyes. A little bit nuts too. There was nothing else really interesting except for a little hint about Fumika. Shooting her father? And who is this guy?
