[ Episode 18: Spearhead of Evil ]

Nena is a bit touched in the head isn’t she? o_o Good lord, what was she thinking when she attacked those civilians? “Nothing” would seem to be the natural response but…I was kind of speechless when the whole thing went down. No matter how you look at it that was just absolutely unnecessary. Her reckless actions practically wiped out an entire family and nearly fatally injured Louise. I guess that’s what happens when you give a child power of such magnitude. Though I can’t help but think that she was raised this way and that the person who gave her a Gundam to begin with is to blame as well.

Anyway, that being said, that scene between Louise and Saji was pretty heartbreaking to watch. I don’t usually get shocked but seeing Louise missing part of her left arm really took me off guard. That just adds upon the tons of emotional tragedy that she has to endure and the same goes for Saji. Now I’m wondering if Saji in his shocked state will do something like join the military.

The last scene with Setsuna confronting the Thrones is absolutely awesome. His dialogue for when he commences his missions are usually good but this one just owned them all. It’s great to see that he’s finally doing something on his own but I’m a little worried about the whole 1 on 3 situation. I’m hoping that he at least takes one of them out or render them useless for future activity. I’m thinking that Johann is the one at the most disadvantage given that one of his arms were destroyed in his battle with Graham. Overall it’s hard to figure out what’ll happen in the battle since Setsuna is alone but I’d think that Lockon isn’t too far behind…

Alejandro is starting to act [more] suspicious than usual. For some reason I said “OH REALLY” when he told Wang Liu Mei that he knew nothing of the Thrones aside from what was present in Veda’s databases. Then there’s the issue of Veda possibly having been hacked and Tieria being denied access to a certain portion of data within Veda. Things are really looking to be more and more interesting that I can even imagine and I just can’t wait for more stuff to be revealed.
