Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

Bleach ep. 156

[ BLEACH #156]

This was a really funny episode all thanks to Pesche, Uyruu, and Cirucci. Most of the comedy came from the former two though. I especially loved how Pesche thought Uyruu loved him because he smiled in his direction. :D That said, the majority of the episode involved Uyruu and Pesche trying to attack Cirucci, running from her and repeating the cycle when needed. Speaking of attacks, Pesches’ “Infinite Slick” is so stupid that I was laughing hard inside. It’s pretty sad though that it has a cool name but basically is a bit spit attack. Additionally I think Pesche was a smart guy for trying to peek at cirucchi’s panties. A person needs a break when working hard in a fight like that and such a sight would probably do wonders for relaxing. :P

Anyway, I found Cirucci’s release to be well animated even if the animation quality was a bit jumpy for the episode. I really liked how they ended the episode with Uyruu unleashing his new attack though. Ah, I remember when it was first revealed in the manga and most were going “OMG Uryuu’s using a sword! He’s using a lightsaber!”. Is he really? :P

    The wrong character won.

Bleach is fun to watch because it follows the manga exactly whereas Naruto Shippuuden is so draggy at the moment, lol. I remember reading this part in the manga and it was so hilarious when that guy - one of Nell’s brothers - come in to help Ishida. Anime was funnier though, lol.

Yeah, the anime definitely made those scenes funnier. I don’t recall that power ranking Pesche thought up in this episode being in the manga. It was hilarious how he placed Chad at the top and Renji second lol.

The ranking was in the manga.

I thought so. Then again it’s been at least a year since I’ve even seen that chapter.
