Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

true tears ep. 2

[ Episode 2: I... What do I want to do? ]

This episode really reinforces my liking for this show. It’s hard to describe everything that I like about it but the characters are a large part of the reason why. Then there’s also the animation that was still in tip-top shape this week. One interesting tidbit about the animation team is that most of them (if not all) are Chinese. The company is P. A. Works by the way. That’s just something I wanted to point out there.

This time around things are a bit more lively and I loved the scenes where Noe was greeting Shinichiro in public. It just goes to show you that she is a girl that isn’t easily embarrassed. :P

Everything is shaping up well so far. Shinichiro, Noe, and Hiromi all received a good amount of development in this episode. Hiromi in particular seems to have shifted from her silent persona at home by the end of the episode. I’m hoping that that means she and Shinichiro will talk more at home as well as at school. This episode also marks the first meeting between Noe and Hiromi. I have to admit, Noe is awesome. She didn’t mince any words with Hiromi when she approached her about the whole issue of being friends. She somehow knew that Hiromi wasn’t telling the truth though I really do wonder if Hiromi doesn’t like her. Though, I suppose it is the case since she’s been getting close to Shinichiro.

Again this episode, I’m loving Shinichiro’s monologues. It’s something that I myself enjoy doing and the imagery that goes along with his thoughts are just great (the bottle thing was nicely done). I’m still wondering how Aiko will fit into the picture though, if it all. She’s shown in the OP with both Noe and Hiromi and has a scene or two for herself in the sequence as well. Then again OPs can be misleading at times. Still though, it’ll be interesting to see what her role develops into as the series progresses and hopefully we get to see her interaction with Noe and Hiromi soon.

The animators’ names appeared to me to be Chinese, but someone has convinced me that they might also be Korean.

ShinXNoe ShineXNoe, lol. Hiromi wasn’t playing bball properly. Noe’s so cute - she definitely my favourite~~

Shaft can learn something from these guys. You don’t have to mindfuck the viewer to give them something to think about with the visuals.

@hashihime: I was wondering about that as well but I didn’t see anyone else make mention of them possibly being Korean.

@ShadowFang: Noe did look kind of intimidating a the gym entrance so it’s no wonder Hiromi messed up lol.

@Wesley: Haven’t stopped trolling about SHAFT yet? Not to mention it has nothing to do with true tears/the episode.

At least troll the episode itself. /sarc

    :D

I was complimenting True Tears style and animation, by using a comparison. FPS-wise True Tears loses out, but at least it’s not trying to brainwash the viewer with sublimal loyalty messages for Satan. It’s a joy to watch.

I like it when girls fight. I really like it when they’re forced to be honest. And Noe is very honest. The temptation to “betray” her is probably there for Shinchiro since she’s really not making it easy for him to be at school with a low profile. I think he’ll do or say something rash and hurt her at some point.

Noe is a bit of a mystery at the moment. Her behavior isn’t the norm and that so far seems to have Shin thinking but he isn’t as weirded out as others would be. He seemed to start off liking Hiromi but I can see him slowly falling for Noe while going through some bumps with her, Hiromi and possibly Aiko.

Aiko doesn’t seem like a love interest to me.

At the moment she can go in either direction so the possibility is there, especially since she’s the childhood friend.

Didn’t any of you guys notice, lol. Hiromi double dribbled by holding the ball with both hands and bouncing it. Haha, so funny. Shin should go with Noe cos weird girls are more interesting lolz
