Blurring the Conspiracy
Blade joins the Conspiracy!

Hello everyone, name’s Blade and I’ll be joining Kita ze inbou from this day and on to make sure 2008 is going to be a great year for all of us!I am just your ordinary 21-year-old dork, you can find more of my kind around your local book store in the manga section looking for some harem… I have been watching anime since the early days of Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z (which was around the year 2000) and it went on as I started to watch more stuff like Sonic X and Yu-Gi-Oh!. It was around 2004 when I finally started to become a serious anime watcher when I discovered Naruto. The show was around episode 68 at the time so I had some catching up to do, but I found myself glued to the screen from beginning to end. The experience was so fun, it’s as disappointing as Naruto Shippuuden has been to me up until now.
Some of my other favorite shows include Great Teacher Onizuka, my all time favorite, Yakitate Japan!!, Cowboy Bebop, One Piece, Bleach and a recent favorite of mine, Eureka Seven. I like most shows and I don’t mind the genre as long as it’s not Yaoi (I’m a guy, so it’s not a surprise). I have some shows I have a big aversion to. Inuyasha is a show I liked a lot when I started to watch it, but as the episodes went by it just proves how derivitive it really is. Green Green is a sad attempt at fan service and featured one of the most ridiculous plot twists I have ever seen in a show. You don’t see it coming, but it doesn’t make sense.
I also like to play video games in my spare time, as I own many popular and rare titles ranging from newly released like Super Mario Galaxy and more obscure games like Snatcher on the Sega CD (which was created by the same guy who brought us Metal Gear, Kojima~san). Video games have been a hobby of mine for the past 17 years and I am still going on strong with it. My love to anime and video games go pretty well as they are many games that appeal to otakus such as RPGs and the Ace Attorney series (Apollo Justice is out next month! YAY!) so I think if I write on a game or two, it’ll be nice.
J-music has begun to be a favorite ever since a friend introduced me to L’arc~en~ciel. I familiarize myself with a band if they did songs that were featured in an anime, means that I know more about FLOW or Asian Kung Fu Generation than Miyavi or Alice 9. From time to time, I’ll write mini reviews on some singles and albums of the artists most of us are familiar with and sometimes those no one knows about (no love for Surface, sadly).
But first and foremost, I am going to help Leon and Youko here to provide you the personal insight on every current anime as much as I can. I hope I’ll adapt well to the surroundings here and may we hope that this year will be a great one. Watashi~wa Blade, yoroshiku. ^_^
