Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

ef – a tale of memories ep. 7

[ Episode 7: I... ]

Uh. WHOA. This entire episode was absolutely intense, specifically the second half. The Renji and Chihiro stuff was really bizarre for a while and I had wondered what the hell was going on until I calmed down and tried to focus on what went wrong. I think I’m going to have to see the next episode or two to fully grasp the situation though. As for the second half…that was crafted to be a masterpiece and it is, yet it was creepy as hell. They played over 20 of Miyako’s 99 messages to Hiro and I must say I felt pretty freaked out. Miyako is in a pretty fragile and messed up state of mind right now and who knows what will happen the next time she meets up with Hiro and/or Kei, especially Kei if she finds out that she deleted all of those messages.

Here’s to hoping the studio goes bankrupt or is broken up.

Yeah, that’ll probably happen in the next one thousand years or so. ^__^

Honestly I was not sure what happened between Chihiro and Reiji, I’ll have to figure it out on the second pass. I’m a little ahead, but a couple of further episodes do not explain it.

    Wesley shut the heck up!

Absolutly signed. I have never seen an Anime that can make such intense and beautiful atmosphere by just text. That. in combination with such pictures… Unparallel workmanship. Just as example the inner monolog of Renji when he thinks about why Chihiro reacts so cold. When Miyako tried to call him it was fascinating to see how she developed.
