There was some very good animation in this episode. It was probably the best animated in a long while actually. I had actually expected this fight to be other with to be honest but it seems like they’re still stretching things by adding more fight scenes in the manga material. That’s not bad at all though since it helps the manga get ahead if just a little. Next episode though is the start of the Ishida’s fight with my favorite Privaron Espada and I must say that she looks amazing. I’m guessing that Ishida and Chad’s fights will be extended in some similar way but it seems as if Rukia’s fight will be starting in episode 154. That’s a little unexpected given the current pace but I suppose they’ll be adding in scenes to that fight as well, especially since I believe it’s the fight that can probably use extensions the best.
