[ Episode 10: For the Sakuras ]

I think that this episode is my favorite so far of the entire series. I really like both Shuri and Shuusuke and I’m always happy when they get screen time. Luckily enough for me they had an entire episode devoted to them and it was excellent. The emotions were high and I won’t deny that I had tears in my eyes for many of the scenes, especially at the very end of the episode where Shuusuke promised to protect Shuri from their father and everyone/thing else.

I gotta say though that I wanted to knock the daylights out of that vice principal for trying to force those accusations from an ANONYMOUS letter on Shuri and Shuusuke. Idiots like him deserve to lose a few teeth if you ask me and I wanted Yuzuki to do that so badly. As for the letter, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was their stepmother who set it all up since she did express her dislike for both of them at the beginning of the episode. I think it also goes without saying that the black blood thing is ridiculous and is getting pretty annoying but there’s nothing that can be done about it so complaining doesn’t really matter. Revisiting the last scene again, I almost thought that Shuusuke and Shuri were going to kiss or at least huge each other passionately. In the end though, what we got to see this episode was that of a beautiful relationship between brother and sister. Whether it is just normal sibling love or one of romance, it doesn’t matter since it is obvious that the two are closer than most people are in any type of relationship.
