[ Episode 3: paradox ]

Oh snap. The Hirono/Kei/Miyako triangle is starting to pick up! It’s pretty obvious that Kei already doesn’t like Miyako and now that she knows Hirono met with Miyako on Christmas instead of keeping their promise…it can only go downhill as far as “friendship” is concerned between Kei and Miyako. I wonder how Miyako feels about Kei though? Does she even know her? I guess we’ll find out soon enough. I can’t wait to see the confrontation that was shown in that DVD promo. :3

The Renji/Chihiro stuff is getting more and more interesting as well. I’m not sure what Renji has up his sleeve but it’s obvious that he wants to help Chihiro the best he can, especially concerning her dream about writing. I don’t think there’s much he can do about her memory problem but in shows like this you can never count out the possibilities.

Kyosuke’s story is still developing and I can’t say I saw him breaking up with his girlfriend and leaving the club coming so soon. It’ll be interesting to see where his story goes from now on and which girl he is paired up with.

[ Episode 35: Unwanted Addition ]

Pretty much a preparatory episode. The biggest thing we found out in this episode was that Naruto has the ability to go up to four-tails when it comes to him leaking out the Kyuubi’s chakra. Furthermore, he dealt a pretty nasty wound to Jiraiya during their training. It amazes to this day that he managed to live. He must’ve had some serious medicine with him or there was a medic-nin close by.

Ah yes, I still laugh every time Naruto mentions that they’re going to “save” Sasuke. At this point, it’s not a rescue mission but a capture mission. It’s blatantly obvious that he left and has been gone for all these years on his own free will. Surely, Naruto, you can’t be that blind. >_>

Just like I expected the episode ends with Naruto, Sakura, Yamato, and pain-in-the-ass Sai setting off on the mission. Well, at least the next episode (which airs on the 29th) is a one-hour special.

[ Episode 7: Teacher's Caramel ]

I really liked this episode, specifically because of the stuff involving Shuri and her family. She adores and loves her birth mother and pretty much confirms that she hates her step mother. She said some pretty strong things though, the one in particular about how her father only uses their supposed new mother for sex only. Ouch. Now I’m wondering what happened between the two in the past if anything or if Shuri just naturally feels that way because she tried to take the place of her and Shuu’s birth mother. Also, I want to know Shuu’s feelings on the whole situation.

Sana’s plotline is starting to get interesting as well. I found it quite nice how he and Yuzuki met in the past. She was still a schoolgirl then and pretty damn cute. Ah yes, the old woman stuff is yet again quite odd but I’m guessing that Poe was in that box. It wouldn’t be a surprise really. I have to say that Nanaka’s eyes were somewhat lifeless/creepy at the very end of the episode. I don’t think it has anything to do with sanity issues though…. It’s probably just her way of expressing her dislike for Asami as a rival.

[ BLEACH #149]

That was a pretty short anime original arc. Though, I have to say it wasn’t bad at all. I really wonder if they’re going to use Ashido’s character again though since he isn’t dead from what they showed and Rukia has sworn to come back for him later. Eh, who knows. Anyway, next week is the return to the manga material. I can’t wait to see the upcoming content. From what I heard the manga material should go on for at least several episodes.

[ Focus 04: Altered States of Consciousness ]

This was the best episode yet. So much happened and I was actually freaked out. The freak out came when Taro was walking along the corridor alone and was suddenly being chased by a pale female silhouette. I don’t blame Taro, I would’ve hauled my ass forward as well but I would’ve also called out to Makoto and Masayuki. Makoto is quite the interesting character as well. I’m not sure what to call him at this point but he doesn’t really have a positive view on things most of the time. Then there’s that story he told about his mother dropping him as a baby which he claims gave him brain that’s not normal. That supposedly allows him to think of why people can’t kill others. Yeah…I don’t know what to say about that at the moment.

Masayuki pretty much revealed that he was one of the bullies that caused the suicide of the kid in his flashbacks. Though, interestingly enough he seems to resent and fear that student. I also found it interesting how he didn’t deny that he ran away from the incident. Miyako has yet to be explored in depth though I have to admit she is awesome. That stems from the way she told Masayuki to “Take it like a man” when he was getting his hair cut for a ritual cleansing. I’m waiting to see what her connection is with the guys and the Unseen World.

Lastly, the creators must have had some interesting dreams to come up with the astral forms of Tarou, Makoto, and Masayuki. They look so damn odd yet unique.

[ Focus 03: Phobia Exposure ]

Though it would seem there was nothing new in this episode at first glance. We get some background info on Masayuki which shows us that he experienced a classmates suicide in the past. Since this involved the person jumping to their death from the school rooftop. I think, for now, it’s reasonable to think that Masayuki’s fear of heights stems from this event. He further indicated that he was “involved in a killing”. Now, I don’t think he meant he killed someone literally but perhaps he’s alluding to being responsible for the suicide? I’m not sure, given his reaction in the flashback, but he could have been a bully of sorts. Or he could have been a close friend to the person and felt that he didn’t do enough to help them in their time of need. I’m not sure which it could be, especially given his current “jackass” personality.

Next episode will have all three guys wandering around the hospital where Tarou and his sister were held in the past. I’m not sure what their aim or goal is aside from the supposed “phobia exposure” angle…but from the preview it looks like it’ll sure be interesting. Given that the guys seem to turn into aliens. @_@

[ Episode 4: My Mother ]

Conflict is what this episode is about. Well, at least between Aoki and Rin. Oh right, and a little between Aoki and Reiji as well (we’ll see more on that later in the series I think). I always thought that it was an understandable dispute, what with Aoki slipping up by using the word “guardian” when referring to Rin when he had previously mentioned parents for a homework assign. Still though, I’m glad to see that things worked out in the end. The kiss at the end of the episode was done very well. It was cute and I was also laughing at how Aoki was basically freaking out at how she stole his first kiss! XD

[ Episode 3: Grow Up Quickly ]

How much censoring are they going to be using? It’s killing me man. D:

Anyways, this episode focused mainly on the growth of Mimi’s body. I’m not sure how large Mimi’s breasts are but for a third grader they are pretty damn big. At least she managed to find a suitable bra in the end. The hilarious parts in this episode were easily all of the times Aoki got kicked in the jewels by Kuro. That girl is vicious! XD Next episode has Aoki meeting Reiji. That should be the start of some interesting interaction. :3
