Ashido is a pretty strong guy. Though, that’s to be expected when you’re fighting Hollow every day. He already killed a Adjucha-class Menos and then wiped the floor with a bunch of Gillians. Those Adjucha don’t seem strong at all since all they do is attack generically and control some Gillians. If that’s all they have then I really don’t see Ichigo and the others having trouble with them. I’m guessing the others will have some tricks or something that’ll make them more powerful. That or they have an Arrancar on their side.

In any case, I hope Ashido isn’t dead or badly injured just yet after protecting Rukia at the end of the episode. He’s quite the interesting character and I’d hate to seem him go so soon.
