The most interesting thing about this episode was finding out about Chihiro’s memory defect. That has to suck. Hard. I was expecting her memory span to at least last one day/24 hours but it’s only 13 hours. Though, I’m glad that she takes the effort to record her experiences in a book so that she can carry them over into her “new self” each time. With this revelation though I’m wondering what Renji’s reaction will be and how will he deal with his growing feelings for her? It isn’t just an issue one can pass off as ‘easy to handle’ after all.

Once again though I love the art direction. SHAFT is just so amazing when it comes to animation and their odd yet unique touches.
