Bleach ep. 146
[ BLEACH #146]
This episode was really entertaining! Nel brought the majority of the comedy and I have to say that I love her voice. Kaneda Tomoko doesn’t disappoint, capturing Nel’s unique form of speech so perfectly. Seriously, reading it in the manga was already funny but hearing her lines are absolutely hilarious. I particularly liked when she asked Rukia “What’s your welationship with Itsygo?”. That was so freaking awesome that to replay it at least 5 times more. The animation was pretty good for this episode as well as I didn’t really notice anything to complain about, especially with Nel.
Next episode is the start of the anime original arc which involves Rukia disappearing/being kidnapped. Well, it sounds interesting enough. Who knows how long it’ll last though.

This ep belonged to Nel all the way. She’s so infuriatingly cute. And quite possessive too of her new ‘big brother’. That shot of her expression when glaring at Rukia is great.
Also Renji’s line and Itsygo’s reply cracked me up as well -
“Popular with the ladies, eh?”
“Kiss my a**.”
