Shakugan no Shana II ep. 4

[ Episode 4: Melancholy Girls ]
Konoe is strong enough to repel both Shana and Kazumi’s advances on Yuji?
That’s just awesome!

For one reason or another I really found the ending of this episode to be funny. Why is that? Well, you have two girls who’ve had more than enough time to make their move on Yuji and they are obviously jealous. That’s what they get for not being more direct I suppose. Oh well, Konoe is getting closer and closer to Yuji and I really like that. Assuming that she is some form of Hecate, that purpose can come quite handy in the future. For what exactly remains to be seen but when emotions are involved people can be moved to do things they wouldn’t normally do…
Anyway, so far the second season is progressing similarly to the first. Things haven’t been kicked into high gear as yet and as such we have really had any serious battles or conflicts taken place. For now they’re setting groundwork for what I’m sure will be an exciting series of episodes, especially if this current conflict of Konoe vs. Shana and Kazumi for Yuji continues. I’m wondering what is going to happen next though since Shana has stopped training with Yuji and Wilhelmina has taken on the role instead (I’d personally want her as my trainer anyways :P) and there is obviously a rift between the two at the moment. Is there some kidnapping in the future? Probably not the best guess but it’s better than being blank.
And dammit, when I’m a going to get more proper screen time for both Margery and Wilhelmina?!

Konoe’s passive/aggressive approach is indeed formidable. It’s almost like how do you kill something that cannot be killed? They should probably try some kind of indepth investigation to see if her story checks out. Get a private eye or something. Like the one thing a Tomogara would be prepared to fake if they were to pose as a human would be to try to fool Flame Hazes before anything else.
