Bamboo Blade ep. 2
[ Episode 2: Blade Braver and Lunch ]
Tamaki is all up in your face. Kicking your ass.
This series has a charm I can’t quite put my finger on to describe. Though I guess the simpliest way to express it would be to say that Bamboo Blade pulls me into its world for a wondrous time. The characters (save one or two) are all so great to watch and the laughter/comedy is genuine and never feels forced. I loved seeing Tamaki’s reason for her strong sense of justice. A super sentai show! Tamaki also owns the hell out of that jackass sempai in this episode. Her character also grows a little more by the end showing her blending in so well with everyone and even shows her wanting to make sandwiches for her new friends. That scene left me with a warm feeling and a bright smile. 
Next episode looks like it will b awesome. I previously spotted something strange about Miyako in the ED sequence the very first time I saw the show and noticed how she had a “evil” aura about her that faded like a second after the camera shifted onto her. I’m quite sure that Miya Miya is a yandere!

Yes, Bamboo Blade does have that soft something that keeps me watching. I do not know how many times I’ve watched this episode in the past couple of days.
I loved the sentai show that inspires Tamaki. Blade Braver Banzai! I’d watch the show if it existed.
