D.Gray-man ep. 50

[ Episode 50: Wholehearted Feelings ]
Oh man, that was a sad episode. Even after all of the struggling Mei-Ling’s Innocence was destroyed by Lulubell. Not only that but Mimi died as well. Granted she knew exactly what would happen to her if she fought while injured so it’s not really that saddening. Mei-Ling and Mimi were both decent original characters that managed to bring a smile to my face despite the sides they were on. At least Mei-Ling escaped unharmed and is back with the people she love and who love her. I must also make mention of the excellent animation quality in this episode, specifically during the Allen vs. Lulubell and Mimi fight. It was amazing to see such fluid movements and effects erupting all over the screen!
Next episode is the return of the canon story. I can hardly wait to watch!

I’m just glad the fillers are over(for now) and they’re goin back to the manga. It’s a relief too that they don’t retain the filler chara in the anime (like bleach does with the 3 dolls ugh)It’s a shame though, I would like to hear Horie Yui as an exorcist but I’m glad their tampering with the canon is not to that extent coz if Mei Ling were to become an exorcist, her innocence will defnitely spoil the upcoming events.
