Claymore ep. 24

[ Scene 24: Critical Point II ]

Oh Priscilla show no mercy on those who oppose your Goddess-like stature.

Wow. Now that was a great episode! Everything here is purely anime-original and in my opinion doesn’t disappoint one bit. The greatest event in this episode is Priscilla regaining her memory. It was interesting to see her flashback and the eventually awakening of her former self. I find it interesting how she thinks that it’s Teresa she’s going to be fighting. Well, to be fair she didn’t know anything about Clare taking Teresa’s head and having her flesh be put into her so it’s reasonable for her to think that the Yoki she’s feeling is coming from the woman she knew she killed all those years ago.

Well the final battle is now all setup and I don’t know who’s going to win. To be honest I don’t want either of them to die but I suppose it’s inevitable for one of them. I wonder if and how Clare is going to turn back though. She’s well past her limit and has been so for quite some time now. Will a combination of Miria, Helen, Deneve, Jean, and Raki be able to bring her back to normal? That remains to be seen at the moment but I await these last two episodes and the conclusion of this wonderful series.

So I’m not the only one who thinks that Awakened Priscilla’s kinda sexy? ^^;;; Maybe I am…lol. Or maybe it’s just her voice…*shiver*

Dual Personality Priscilla – that should have been her Claymore nickname.

I always found Priscilla sexy in all of her forms. :P

Even in her fugly just-about-to-awaken form? You know that’s the one you get when you wake up next to her the next morning.

Jean’s kind of nice when she’s mortally wounded. ^^; Smiling a bit helps alot.

Clare’s pretty much in the exact same position as Priscilla was back then, sort of like history repeats itself but never quite the same. I hope Priscilla understands that it’s not Teresa she’s fighting before it’s over. I also hope that Clare gets a unique, fully Awakened Form for herself.

Putting Clare down would be a good way for the show to end.

@Kabitzin: You have to accept the whole person, right? XD

    Only when you’re in love.

    That’s exactly my point. :D

I’m sure Clare will be smex when she Awakens, but she’s not looking too good right now. I can hardly stand the wait.

Oh man. What an amazing episode in general and I can’t wait for these last two. Do you think the series will really end here or that they’ll continue it onto the next season?

I really don’t see how such a pivotal battle could be finished in two episodes and, with Easley yet to be dealt with, it seems like there’s a lot of ground to be covered yet.

I think it’ll end with these last two episodes with the way they’ve been handling things. Though that means the other Dwellers of the Deep won’t get any spotlight…

If it were to end with these last two episodes then what would’ve been the point in mentioning a possible war between the North and West Dwellers of the Deep?

I’m sure this may end up being somewhat like FMA. They tie up a lot in the first season, but the story doesn’t conclude until the second.

“I wonder if and how Clare is going to turn back though.”
The same way Priscilla turn back?

From the looks of it, Priscilla was just using a temporary human form like most Yoma do. It’s possible she reverted to that form and lost her memories soon after, but we’ll see what becomes of it once they talk about it.
