[ Episode 9: The Atonement of Flames ]

Well they hinted on it a few times in the previous episode so it didn’t come as a total surprise that Colbert was the Flame Serpent. I didn’t expect him to die despite Agnes knowing that he was the one responsible for the fall of her village. He truly was following orders in the past though, falsely being led to believe that he was purifying a village with a plague so what he did, in my eyes, can eventually be forgiven. The moment he died was pretty sad and I surely had some tears in my eyes at how intense that entire scene was. The only thing that could have been better though was the use of a special ED after all of those emotional scenes. The regular ED pretty much out of place after such powerful scenes.
