Seirei no Moribito ep. 20
[ Episode 20: To Hunter's Cave ]
It’s episodes like this that makes you see just how detailed this series can be. After the slight conflict between Torogai and Shuga (along with the hunters) we basically see the Yakue bid farewell to the group as they travel to Hunter’s Cave (I’m going to miss Nimka though =/). Now the wait is on for spring when Chagum must face his destiny. Until then, preparations of all kinds must be made. I found it interesting to see Balsa teaching Chagum how to take care of himself by showing him how to cure fish and other meat along with other tasks. Things like that you usually don’t see and are simply referred to as “training time” even when they are mentioned. For now though, Balsa will be discussing her past with Chagum. It’ll probably be one or two episodes in length but nonetheless I’m more than intrigued to see a young Balsa.

Yeah, not the most exciting or interesting episode ever since there wasn’t that much talking, but at times like these you can really appreciate the great animation and attention to detail. Hunter’s Cave looks like a decent enough place to hang out. Has it’s own water source, got a nice view if you want to go out and get some air, plenty of interior space.
I just hope to see some Tanda/Balsa time since they’ll all be living together for the next 6 months or so.
